I have used Jake's for several years now for anything they will do. I had them install a new water softener that I had purchased. They also installed two new heating elements in my hot water heater. They have done the annual maintenance on my heat pump and air conditioner since I have lived in this house. Time span of five years. They have always been very responsive and do excellent work at a reasonable price.

Have used for over 20 years. Always professional and great diagnostics.

Excessive amount of time (total of 3.5 hours) to perform diagnostic services that resulted in no definitive solution to fix the problem. I was told one hour to diagnose and then if it could not be fixed in that time, a cost estimate would be provided. This took two trips which I agree were needed due to a frozen coil so 2 hours would be appropriate but on the second trip he took a full 2.5 hours to diagnose the issue for a total of 3.5 hours and the source of the issues was not identified or repaired. When I called to question the charges, they did not care. They said I was told the hourly rate and this is how long it took. If they did not have the capability to identify or repair the problem they should have stopped within a reasonable amount of time. They were on time and came back when they said but I am not satisfied with the quality of their work, their competence, or their customer service.

Called technician because drain code was flashing. While waiting for technician, went on the internet to find instruction on how to clear the obstruction myself but kept the appointment for regular service. Technician did a thorough check of the system and found the water pressure was at zero (should be between 20 and 60) and that the water heater piping I paid Free Energy Corporation $400 to install was incorrect and doing nothing. Estimate to fix that was $150. They will also put a gauge on the unit so I can measure the water pressure and manage that myself in the future as well. This work will be performed next week. VERY knowledgable, pleasant, and thorough. Will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them and the technician, JT.

My furnace needed going-over before winter, and i had had problems with water leaking during summer A/C use. He arrived on time as scheduled, was very courteous and friendly. He showed me why I had had the water leak and corrected the problem, checked out everything for winter use, changed the filter and made sure everything was ready to go. Very much appreciate such timely, courteous and professional service. Will definitely call them again!

They came out at five o'clock on a Friday, and I appreciated that. They have been here several times. They did a really good job. It took some time to get it all worked out, but they fixed everything in the end.
