My husband emailed the contractor a description of the work to be performed. We had 3 contractors bid. We went with Fidler on the roof. We exchanged about 3 calls, a time was scheduled for the work. The workers came and did the repairs in one day. Very little mess was left after the job was completed. Any time a roof repair is made there are going to be small pieces of wood and debris left behind in an attic. The workers were professional and arrived when scheduled. They brought the necessary equipment and ladders to do the job, we provided the concrete tiles. I had saved a pallet of the original tiles from the initial roof. The work was to our satisfaction and was the most reasonably priced of the bids we received. Fidler on the roof accepts credit card payments and has a link on their website to pay. I would use them again should the need arise.

Aaron Manley at Fiddler was the 5th roofer I spoke to to get this job done. Three of the other four were unacceptable with not showing up for a scheduled appointment, even after several calls and planning the appointments. One company, who was recommended by a friend just did not respond at all. Aaron was referred by an associate. He was an excellent communicator staying in touch throughout the planning process as we had to wait out the extremely cold weather. Aaron also identified a specific requirement of my city's code for a wind and ice shield, which had not been mentioned by any other roofer. He made contact with my insurance company on two occasions and was able to get them to increase their original estimate for covering this requirement. Aaron always did what he said he was going to do. The job was completed by his crew in the exact time frame that he promised. They left the area perfectly clean. I would highly recommend Aaron and Fiddler on the Roof!

Fidler on the Roof KC was fast, fair and did a great job. Eric returned my calls quickly, gave me a fair estimate and even came a day early to get my roof repaired before it rained. Which I was so thankful for!!! I would recommend Fidler on the Roof KC to anyone who wants quality work and a fair price. I had contacted two other "Big" roofing companies and got outrageous quotes. Eric treated this small job just as important as a large job. I highly recommend and would use again.

Aaron and team were excellent to work with. They are the personal touch this industry needs. They were quick and so clean. Aaron worked well with my insurance company. And even finished the job early! They also came back out a few days later to make sure everything was finished with the deck and guttering.

We’ve had quite a few major projects to undertake since we purchased our home last summer. During one issue (a leaking window trim) we found Fidler on the Roof. Aaron came out and got up on our roof, even fixing a gasket around the sewer pipe, but they weren’t able to help us with the original window issue. He recommended several people and actually followed up to see if we got what we needed. Aaron did all of this without any money exchanged. Fast forward a few months to the storm on/around October 14, 2017. This is the same storm that did quite a bit of damage to World’s of Fun. Trees were uprooted there and parts of the park were flooded. A tree in our front yard had a large limb and part of the tree fall on the front part of our house/roof. We used Farage Tree and Stump removal to get the limb off the roof. We had used them before and they even came that night to have it removed. Our insurance company had an adjuster come out and they said we would need a new roof. The Insurance company said we should pick who we wanted to do the job for us. We called several places to have our roof looked at. Due to all the storms this year, most people were backed up. Aaron from Fidler on the Roof came and looked at the roof quite quickly. Another roofer finally did come but never replied to our emails after the visit. Both estimates were very close in price. Aaron helped us with picking out colors and gave us all the information we needed. He gave us an estimate of when they could get the roof completed by and communicated well. He also communicated with the Insurance agent and made sure they had everything so we could get the insurance check quickly. We had a few minor issues with starting on the day of the project (they got caught up finishing another project and one of the trailers broke), but once they began they worked quickly. Tarps were placed around the house and care was taken to minimize trash. They stripped the shingles in a few hours, and by 1 pm the next day they had the shingle work completed. Our roof is fairly small but steep in pitch. A fascia board cracked and an interior beam had a slight crack in it as well from the tree damage. Aaron used a carpenter that works with them to complete that aspect of the job. He came a few days later and finished that work perfectly. The other company who came to give us an estimate could not do this work. We would have had to find someone else to complete the carpentry work. Flashing around our chimney was the last step and that was completed the following week. They communicated every step and even sent photos from the roof of the work completed. After dealing with a lot of companies, I will say Aaron and Fidler on the Roof is a respectable and straight forward business. They were busy and sometimes things happened (a few timing issues), but Aaron was always there to answer any questions we had and was good to his word. I would recommend them and their work to anyone.

Called Fiddler on the Roof in the morning and they were out looking at the project by midday. Started the project 2 Days Later and finished that same day. They treated my property as if it was their own sealed everything up properly and cleaned everything up before they left the project.

From the very first contact with Eric, owner of Fidler On The Roof, to the last, the experience was awesome!! He was super friendly and explained what he needed to do to complete the project. He took photographs of the problem areas on the roof. He explained what he would do to fix the problems and how much it would cost to do so. He was upfront, honest, and I truly felt that I was being given an HONEST solution and price. This company is family owned and you can certainly tell that they take pride in what they do! I was kept in the loop of what was happening and when I could expect workers to arrive. Eric was very accessible and I could contact him if/when I had any questions. His customer service was outstanding! I am extremely pleased with the job that Fidler On The Roof did for me!! These guys worked late each day to replace our roof on time. They were always available to respond to our questions. They were willing to work with our insurance company and adjuster to speed up the claims and payment process. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family!

Aaron was a privilege to work with from the beginning of the job to his follow-ups. His communication is consistent and clear; he's honest and reasonable; he's patient and not pushy, and the work was well-done. I called Fiddler on the Roof KC to inspect my roof, which had recently been damaged in a hail storm. Aaron came over the next day, and he did so at my wife's and my convenience, which happened to be after hours at 6:30pm. After the inspection, Aaron noted that there was a broken seal that was causing water damage that we pointed out on the inside of the ceiling. Aaron fixed the leak without asking for a dime. He gave an honest appraisal of the other roof damage, and then he encouraged us to call a few other roofers if we felt like we needed a second opinion. This exchange typifies our working relationship with him: he was exceptionally transparent, didn't oversell, and he allowed us to verify that honesty. After I called the insurance adjuster, Aaron made the trip from Olathe, where he was working on a job, to our place in the Northland (about a 45 minute one-way trip) to meet the claim agent and give an appraisal of his observations. We really appreciate that he was there to help clarify and point out damage; it was certainly a way to hold our insurance company accountable for their report. Aaron worked on our time schedule and was exceedingly flexible. When we indicated that we wanted to look at samples of alternative shingle colors, he dropped off sample swatches and followed up on our preferences. Everything was executed according to our directives. When I received the claim check, I asked Aaron to delay installation/replacement because we had family in for the holidays, and he graciously obliged. While I was waiting for the depreciation check, Aaron didn't badger me about payment and waited until I received the check to collect on the balance of the work. On the day that we'd scheduled for the roof replacement, Fiddler on the Roof KC was on time (they didn't arrive early, which would have affected our ability to leave the house and get to work, and they weren't late). The entire roof replacement was finished in one day. I think that this company could have elected to bring fewer roofers, which would have reduced their costs but also would have left the roof unfinished overnight. Aaron made sure that all of the materiel and manpower was present to get the job done in a timely manner, and we really appreciated that. During the installation, Aaron was in contact with me, notifying me of the team's progress, and texting photos of the work as it was completed. At the end of the day, Aaron went above and beyond, even replacing a trim board that was damaged before they started the work... this was work that he wasn't contracted to do, but it illustrates how Aaron will go the extra mile because it's the right thing to do... it's great to work with people like that! After the job was finished, Aaron insisted on painting some siding that he noticed was missing some paint and the trim board that he replaced... Again, this guy really goes the extra mile for his customers. He maintained consistent, timely, and punctual communication even after the job was finished. I pointed out two minor details that my wife and I were curious about (shingles that were still above the OSB board from where the gutter guards were replaced). Instead of "explaining this away," making excuses, ignoring us, or denying that those were valid concerns, Aaron quickly returned to our house to rectify the issues. From start to finish, it was great to work with Aaron and Fiddler on the Roof KC. I cannot give them a stronger recommendation for their quality of work, attentiveness, punctuality, courtesy, and customer service.
