AAA Heating, Cooling and Electric Co.

We called AAA Heating and Cooling for fixing our AC. A technician visited our place did diagnosis for few mins and said, capacitor is gone and it is replaced. Now things should go fine. AC started working and we paid $100. After few hours again ac started blowing hot air. We called AAA and it went to voice mail. I had to wait till next day to get hold of AA. I called next day morning and reply was "Compressor is gone and I need to have a new A/C installed" My concern is why it was not advised to me earlier when the AAA person did the diagnosis. Then I reached for estimate, all I get is $4000 for Heating and AC as text message. Again there is no analysis on what I need and choices. Just a text message. It had to interpret everything as "I got $100 from you.. You got ac for few hours. Now for fixing it for every, you either pay $4000 and I don't care whether to do it or not". We felt very bad on how it was handled.
