Good experience. "John" (an employee of Pallardy Electric) arrived at the scheduled time and dat. He was courteous and professional. The quality of work was great and he asked questions whenever there was any doubt. I've used Pallardy Electric several times over the past 10 years and they have never disappointed. They are always courteous, professional and costs are reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

We are extremely pleased with the work Joe and his staff did for us. We are finishing 800 sq ft basement. When I first called Joe for a bid, he was able to schedule an appointment for us pretty quickly accommodating our busy schedule. His bid was fair, Joe listened to what we needed to accomplish, gave his recommendation and suggestions on some tricky spots that we wanted can lights but was not enough space due to duct work. Communication was excellent, he responded quickly to any of our questions, we had changed couple of things the last minute and they were very flexible and courteous executing these changes. The crew showed up on time every time and pretty early (7 am) to accommodate my husband's schedule. The quality of their work is of high caliber and they cleaned after themselves every time. Our basement lighting looks great we Will definitely use Joe and his team in the future. Thank you for a job well done. sahar

They did a nice job measuring out an X pattern on the ceiling for the recessed lighting. They had to do it by laser and the measurements and the final look came out perfect. They used the center chandelier as the starting point after it had been removed. Did other work mentioned above. I was unhappy on the lighting of another LED light fixture we had installed and they replaced it to get the lighting effect we desired without charge. Consciousness and good work. I would use them again.

Joe Pallardy personally mounted flat screen TV and sound bar. This wasn't an easy task as he had to run electric above gas fireplace. He did a great job with minimal drywall repair. Looks wonderful. TV and sound bar are perfectly centered above mantel. We've had a lot of compliments on how nice they look. Two of his men completed mounting new pendant, installing 2nd pendant and track lighting. They were very friendly and patient to allow me to determine placement of new pendant and new track lighting. Additional electric outlet was installed and they plugged in appliances to make sure everything was working correctly. Old light fixture in backyard was not working and I was informed it could not be repaired. They waited while I ran to Lowe's to purchase a new one and then installed it. Again, they were very patient and pleasant and wanting to make sure I was pleased with their work.

They did a beautiful job. Everything went wonderfully.

On time early this morning. I provided the two fans. Showed them the fans and they got to work. It took them approx. 1.5 hours. Excellent clean-up. PRO's!

I was surprised at the lack of service, as most of the reviews indicate that this company is pretty good. I scheduled an appointment with Joe Pallardy approx. 2 weeks ago for Tuesday, September 8th at 3:00pm to give me a quote to have a new wire run for a hot tub that I am having installed next week. He didn't show up, so I called him at 3:45pm to ask if he was still planning to come. He said that he had an emergency and wouldn't be able to come as scheduled (I would have appreciated a call to let me know). He asked if I was available the next day, and we scheduled for him to come out at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 9th. He showed up 40 minutes late, after the no call/no show the day before. He came in and gave me a quote. He indicated that I should expect an email within the next day or two with an official quote, and said that it would be somewhere around $1200 to do everything for the hot tub hookup. 5 days later and I still haven't received the quote, nor have I heard from Joe. Beyond that, I had another electrician come out to give me a quote on 9/11, and he was $500 cheaper AND sent me the actual quote the next day. He also indicated that what Joe Pallardy had suggested for installation would not meet electrical code (distance of shut off valve to hot tub), and that I would need a permit from the city, which Joe did not mention. After the no call/no show, showing up late on the reschedule and not mentioning the permit/electrical code, I won't be going with Pallardy Electric on this project, or any future electrical project that I may have. I would recommend going with another provider. Update 9/22/14 In Response to Provider Response: Joe did call me on Wednesday to let me know he was running late...after he was already 20 minutes late. I have the voicemail on my phone to show he called at 2:18pm when he was supposed to be here at 2:00pm. I checked both my inbox and spam folder daily, looking for the quote, and never received it. Perhaps he wrote down the wrong email address. You would think for $1200 worth of business, a follow up call would have happened when he didn't hear back from me. The "would not meet electrical code" comment was because I indicated that I wanted the hot tub on the edge of my concrete patio. Per electrical code, the hot tub needed to be moved 2 feet closer to the shut off due to distance requirements. Joe never mentioned this. I wasn't indicating that Joe wasn't up-to-date on electrical codes, just that perhaps he didn't realize the measurement was needed. If he did, I would have liked to know that I couldn't put the hot tub where I wanted it. Joe was very nice and professional while he was here...I don't doubt that he does good work. And perhaps he wasn't comfortable with running the line through the house as my current electrician did, which significantly reduced the cost...He was just not punctual and I didn't feel that the service I received was sufficient to receive my business. If Pallardy Electric was hiring a new employee and the person didn't call/show for the first interview (even if he did apologize), then was late for the second interview, would you hire them? I doubt any business would have given the person a 2nd interview, let alone hire them.

Joe Pallardy arrived to talk about project and give estimate for work to be done.He and his crew arrived and completed the job as scheduled.He and his crew were very polite and professional. I would certainly use them again and give them my highest recommendation.

Mr. Pallardy offered to send someone the day after we called, which would have been New Year's Day, but we told him the problem wasn't that urgent. We went with the afternoon of Jan. 2, but something came up and he missed us. So we arranged for first thing Jan. 3, and sure enough, "Stewy" arrived right on time. He was not only very professional, he was also super friendly and personable. He explained everything that could be wrong, which fortunately wasn't, explained what needed to be done -- which was replace the outlet, since it was beyond fixing, but at least we didn't have to replace a whole circuit. He had to go out and get a replacement unit to match, which he did in rapid time. After installing it, he checked all the outlets on the circuit, double-checked the circuit breaker and gave us several useful safety tips. Plus, it cost us less than we thought it would. We'll definitely use Pallardy the next time we need electrical work. And we'll definitely ask for "Stewy."

These guys went above and beyond. They put the fan together for me and then put it up. A lot of people were going to just put the thing up or charge me more. They recommended me go down a fan. They could have charged me that extra money. They also told me some of the work Charter could do so they saved me money. They were very helpful with stuff like that. The guy he sent out was very nice, very polite. I am sure for a guy he thought that he did a good clean up, but I am super picky and I called the owner and that guy came out and cleaned it up. They are very reactive. Then Joe called every time they were out here. How did it go? Did they clean up the way that you liked it? I can tell you that I am super super picky. Someone else might not have said anything at all. I really appreciated that. They didn't even have us pay them until they were done. My husband had to do a lot of work so they were waiting on us. We are REALLY happy.

Joe replaced a faulty fuse to keep my AC working. He arrived on time, had to return a second visit to bring the correct part and did an Awesome job! I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

It went really well. They showed up when promised and did the work promised. I was given their card by a friend of mine and I'm glad I called them.

Joe showed up when he said he would, completed the job thoroughly, cleaned up, and was slightly under his original estimate. - Great job.

Overall, service was prompt, professtional, and the price was fair and reasonable. Very pleasant to deal with, friendly, and efficent.

My husband tried to fix this electrical problem but could not. We called Mr. Pallardy. He came quickly and thoroughly diagnosed what was wrong. He explained it to my husband, had all the right tools and parts, and effectively fixed the problem and told us how to avoid having the same problem in the future. Great!

Found Pallardy Electric on Angie's List. After reading the reviews about the company I decided to give them a call, especially since they were so close to my house. I called & late the next afternoon Joe was at my house looking at the work I wanted done. Joe asked for a few days to bid the job since there so many things that needed to be done. Within 2 days Joe e-mailed me the bid. The bid almost $200.00 less then the other company's. Within 2 weeks Joe was over at my house crawling in my attic & fishing new wire through the walls. While Joe was at the house he moved some of my furniture & was careful not to damage my walls or ceilings. At the end of the 2 days Joe left everything just as clean as it was before he began.

I would use and recommend Pallardy to anyone I know. Great work, I feel he was trustworthy and reasonably priced.g

Joe was very friendly, he called to let us know he would be running about a half hour late. He put together the ceiling fan which was still in box, and installed it in my daughters room. He also installed a surge protector box to our main electrical panel. When we had any questions on how the surge proctector worked he answered all our questions. He was quick, efficient, and cleaned up after himself. His estimate for what we needed was over phone. When he was here and completed what we wanted his bill was less than the estimate. We would definitely use him again and recommend anyone that needs electrical service to call Pallardy Electric.

Joe came in after a lightning srike at our home and did a complete and thorough inspection of the damage and went the extra mile to make sure no other problems where lurking under the surface! Prompt, courteous, and thoughtful. Who knew these qualities were still found in the trades!.

I have been (casually) looking for a local electrician (for misc home electrical projects) Last weekend, one of our bedrooms lost full power. A breaker had been tripped. After multiple attempts to re-set, we knew we needed to call an electrician. I reviewed Angielist and found a few local. I found Pallardy Electric and worked directly with Joe. He came out (Friday after hours) and confirmed the diagnosis and ordered the new part from one of his suppliers. Joe came back today with new breaker, installed and full power restored. Additionally, during todays visit with (Joe)Pallardy my wife and I presented him with a list full of (misc) home projects. Everything simple from outlets (inside / outside). We look forward to working with PallardyElectric in the future. Joe was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. We appreciated his call to confirm his arrival, his suggestions for project upgrades and willgness to discuss the desired outcomes. We will use Joe and Pallardy Electric in the future.

They were great to work with. Joe Pallardy came out to give me a free estimate and wrote one up and sent it to me within a week. I accepted the estimate and we were able to schedule the work within a two week window. Joe and another worker arrived on time and did a very thorough job. They were concerned about cleaning up well and kept everything neat. I would definitely use them again.

They did a really good job and were concerned about making sure everything worked right. They offered to come back if I had any problems; he was very easy to get hold of and I had no issues with them. I will use them again in the future.

I really liked that he set an appointment, and he could make it. He called to reschedule the appointment. He let us know, which is always fine. We find a lot of people don't call and not show up, but he called to reschedule. He was polite and professional. He talked to us about what he needed to do after he checked our outlets. He did what he needed to do. It was a positive experience, and we will use him again.
