We purchased a deal for tree trimming services. One year later, Kevin has never provided the service, purposely stringing us along any time I called. And now he won't even respond to calls or texts, or claims there's a bad connection and he'll call back. I'm surprised by the good reviews because this has been nothing but a nightmare for us. So we're out $199, with zero work done. Under no circumstances would I recommend him to others.

It was initially difficult to get a response for an estimate. But after the estimate was received the price was fair and the quality of service was very good. I one wish they had removed one other half dead rose bush. I was pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend this company.

We agreed to a price and came a couple of days later. Work was completed quickly and professionally. We plan to use them again on another project!

Still not done, and they're not responding. It's been a month since purchase and all they've done is come by once to look at the job. I think that because we don't have any bigger project for them to do they're not interested in doing what we paid for.

The guys did a very good job. Kevin came over the day before the job was to be done and surveyed the area and gave me an estimate of how much mulch was needed and what the job was to entail. He stopped by early the next morning with the crew of two guys and explained to them what need to be accomplished. They did an excellent, clean and professional job on my front, side and back yard. They were also very pleasant to talk to. We are getting many compliments from neighbors.

Kevin did his first walk-through by phone as I described as best I could what I needed done about 10 days after purchasing a Big Deal on May 14. He warned me that the cost would be $500 to $600 instead of the $149 I paid up front. Then he called and said he'd be by on Friday, June 2 at 10 to do what I thought was another walk-through with me, but it turned out that around 9 or 9:30, as I was still getting ready, he and his crew started working. They removed all vegetation from the corner easement around a tree, some of which was weeds but some of which was actual planting, and I'm left with bare dirt. I was able to describe a bit more of what I wanted and didn't want when I finally got outside, and Kevin told me how much more it would cost ($1100), I cut a few things out to bring it down to $900 on top of the $149 I had already paid. After I got home from work, I discovered a couple of weeds in my corner flower bed I had specifically described as needing to be eliminated and a burning bush cut back more than I expected. The yard was clean, and most of the things I had asked to be done were done, but I was a bit disappointed. Kevin did offer to return, but I think that was before we renegotiated the price. I am very glad to have the work done and my yard looking very clean, and I do appreciate Kevin's team's work overall.

I haven't been able to get the job done. They never call me back, they don't show up, and it's been nearly a month now.

Kevin (owner) came out to view the work right away. It took a couple of months to actually do it because of all the rain. There were 4 workers including the owner and they were professional and cleaned up nicely. They asked me a couple of times for me to look at it and see if it was right. I would certainly hire again. I have already referred them.

Purchased the 4 hours of landscaping labor deal. I called to set up a time and was told they were behind due to weather and would call me back on Monday. By Thursday, still no call. I called again and he said he would call next week to set something up. He also asked if I got the email he sent out to all the Angie's list purchasers. I did not get an email (checked twice). I can't speak to the quality of their work because I contacted Angie's list for a refund. My only thought is, if you are too busy to service your current clients I'm happy for you, but don't offer specials on Angie's List if you can't do the work.

Ground very rocky and hard to dig. Had to change planting plants. Most likely not the fault of company

Kevin Simmons was very helpful answering my questions about the mulch itself and setting up an appointment. Kevin is professional, amiable, likable and easy to work with. Both of his employees were also professional and amiable & orked hard + efficiently loading the mulch into wheelbarrows and spreading it in a 400 sq ft garden area. Kevin was present during the job to supervise and answer any questions. You know the saying, "Pay ahead of time & get cheated." Not applicable this time. We were pleased with the people, the work, the cost, the arrival time, the amount of mulch spread, and the final appearance. We would hire K & S for additional services.

I was a little concerned about the additional price charges. The coupon was for 4 hours of lawn or landscape work or 2 hours for 2 people. I got charged an additional amount but the 2 guys only worked for around 2 hours. I realize that i needed to include the mulch in the additional amount and also what it would cost to get rid of the debris (mostly weeds and part of a barb wire fence) but I paid $500 for the additional work. I didnt get a chance to price other lawn services so I went in blind about the amount charged and that is on me. I marked yes for the fact that I would hire them again but I would get other estimates first. They were really very nice people and did a good job.

I can't say that it went any better than possible. Kevin was stalled by the flooding and heavy rain. He sent email letting me know that he was behind and reminded me that I could call him anytime with questions. He was about a week and a half behind. I did call him as I was having an open house as part of my selling my house and needed to have the work done. He promised a time and when I got home from work the job was done. I so appreciate the truth with timing. Additionally the work was perfect. He called me the next morning to make sure I was pleased with the work and I told him that I was very pleased. I would hire him again in a minute and he is in my contacts in my phone.

Team was polite and professional. They took pride in their work and work was done well. Have already recommended to neighbor and will use again. Thanks.

Two men arrived and worked very hard and did a great job and did great cleanup. Both the supervisor and workers were easy to work with and had a great attitude.

Kevin was readily available despite the tremendous amount of rain we were experiencing. His professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail was impressive. I will definitely be using K & S for any future projects and recommended him to several others in our neighborhood.

Great job! The crew at K&S delivered and spread mulch at my home. Price was right and the crew was really nice and professional! Kevin let me know when they were on their way out and was great with payment. They did an awesome job with cleanup as well. Looks great!

Kevin and K&S saved my butt and did an excellent job for me! I was trying to prepare my house for sale and listing, but an issue with the retention area behind my house required heavy equipment to come in and dig up and re-grade the area, destroying the front and side of my yard in the process. First I needed K&S to prune the bushes, weed the gardens, mow the grass, edge, etc to get the house in a condition that would allow us to take pictures and list it. He came out and his crew knocked it out quickly and with great quality. We had to stay in touch to talk about the repairs after the damage was done and the crews had gone. Kevin came out, walked the property to survey the damage and helped me come up with a plan to get the yard back into showable condition requiring some sod, some new rock brought in and a few other items. Timing became a huge issue as I had pictures for sale scheduled already a week away and he had a lot of work to do, plus the weather called for rain, which could further delay progress. Kevin knowing how critical the timing was for me, had his crew come out on a Sunday to prep everything that would be needed prior to the arrival of the sod and rock. Later that week his crew came out and put in the sod and the rock leaving it ready for mowing and trimming the day of the pictures. The day before it had rained a ton and the conditions were not good. I called Kevin nervously asking if there was any way they could still get the yard done by 3:00 for the pictures and he assured me he could. The next day it was noon and they hadn't come out yet so I got nervous again because the house did not have that curb appeal you need in pictures. He said they were on their way and later I found Kevin himself running the lawn mower and his teammate edged and put the finishing touches on the yard. They left, the yard looked great considering all they had to repair, and the photographer showed up 30 minutes later. K&S saved the day! Kevin did everything he said he would do and he did it for what I thought was a reasonable and fair price. He was nothing but professional, courteous, and certainly prompt. His crew was every bit as professional as he, and went above and beyond to help me get done what I needed done but did not have time to do myself with concentrating on the work that needed to be done inside the house. I would whole-heartedly recommend Kevin and K&S for anything you may need around the yard. They will treat you with respect and professionally. I will continue to use them into the future.
