Hoff Heating & Air Conditioning

Hoff Heating and Air Conditioning has already been a fair and professional company to work with. I have had them work for me on 3 occassions. This year they recommended replacing the A-Coil and lifting the base of the unit in my basement to allow for better air flow. I chose to only replace the A-Coil because I will have to replace the heating unit in a few years and will have the entire unit lifted at that time. They were very understanding when I changed the scope of the project at the last minute. I have always had a good experience with their staff.

Great, I've used them three times and will continue to stay loyal. The gentleman who come out are professional and I feel safe and the staff that take my calls are always nice and Bryan Hoff is respectful. the entire company reminds of hows things should be in a perfect world. It's a company I can trust.

I had the air conditioner disconnected for a landscaping project and then reconnected several months later. Everything is back together and working well.

Explained what happened and why and how to clean it.

Polite and courteous, they were on time. They returned our call even before they were scheduled to open. They scheduled us for repair first thing in the morning; after a night that got pretty chilly in our house. We will definitely use them again for seasonal check-ups in the future.

Our furnace went out last night just as temps fell into the 20's. I called Hoff heating and cooling at 9am and they were able to be out around noon. The serviceman was extremely professional and immediately put on shoe covers before entering. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and had all the parts needed in his service truck. He promptly fixed the problem and was on his way. I was amazed by the promptness and professionalism of this company. My mom uses them and referred me. I couldn't be happier.

Tim was professional and helpful with his advice and help in diagnosing the problem with my furnace. This was my first time using Hoff Heating. I will plan to use their services again.

My AC went out last week on one of the hottest nights of the year. Called Hoff AC. They came out at 9pm, at double rate, due to after hours. You could tell the guy didn't want to be there. Kept saying "this is really bad ". Looked at my unit, which had water all over it, and said "your unit is dead and if I were you, I would replace the furnace too". Yes, my unit is older, 20 years, and any fix may only be a band aid. The next morning , I had another company come out and they had the AC up and running in, get this, 30 minutes. So, I went from potentially paying at $10,000 to paying $300. That can't happen. Very disappointed in Hoff.

They did a great job, and are very professional.

My only complaint is that, after completing installation and starting to cool down the house, compressor would not run continuously until thermostat set point was reached. Technician had no explanation for that but had no interest in pursuing it.

We Contacted them after their hours on a Friday night they contacted us right away and came out the next morning. He looked in the inside and then went to the unit outside it only took him about 3 minutes to figure out it was the compositor. He came in told us what was wrong told us the price and had the piece in his van. He fixed it right away. Then told us we needed freon and the price. He put freon in and checked the temp.

It went fine. Our quote included a new thermostat but we wanted to keep our current thermostat. Because we paid in advance, I wanted to keep the thermostat (we'd already paid for it) but the tech thought he should bring it back. I spoke with the owner on the phone; he was very courteous and he said they would leave it because it was in the paperwork. They also did some duct work, free of charge, on the gas vent on our furnace because they said it wasn't to code. Overall, it was a fairly pleasant experience.

Fixed everything the previous provider did not

Think I have already did this and it was so long ago don't remember a lot. But they came right out and did a great job. Don't honestly remember date or cost of call, but in no means were we unhappy with their service. did a great job.

I've had no problems with them, and they're great and punctual. They do great work too.

I called several heating & cooling companies when our furnace wasn't working properly on a bitterly cold day. I asked them if I could describe the problem before scheduling a service call so we would know what the damage might be. (Of course, not holding them to it as they hadn't looked at the unit yet). Most companies blew me off or told me it was something horrible and said by the age of the furnace, we'd likely need a new one. Hoff gave me advice on simple things to check ourselves and fully explained everything that we needed. The also let me schedule an appointment so that we had a time slot that day but were fine with me canceling if one of their suggestions worked. Well, it was a simple fix. Their advice saved us time and money. Not many companies like that nowadays. For this reason, they will be the first company we call with any heating or cooling issues. Thanks Hoff!!

Showed up on the scheduled date but late. We were told between 1 and 4. The tech showed up around 4:30. After that it was all good. He tested the HVAC system and added a little freon. Repaired a broken condensate pvc line. System has worked great since.

If you don't have one, highly recommend!! We had it on our previous home and it makes such a difference! The technician was late due to weather, but he called at the early part of his expected window arrival time to inform me, and it worked better for me anyway. Technician was clean, very professional, friendly, and got right to work. Making the appointment was simple and convenient, and they were available almost immediately. Tech cleaned up any mess that was made, took the time to explain how the system works and the minimal maintenance involved. As for price, we didn't shop around much. We had emailed a couple other companies who sold this same product and never heard back from either company. We will definitely use Hoff in the future as I sure appreciate the professionalism and friendly service.

They checked our furnace due to a strange "dusty" smell coming from it. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and thorough.

I had interviewed several companies. I had them come out and explain to me their products, installation and their warranty. I ended up using Hoff Heating & Air Conditioning because they were the most professional. We were buying something like that and I'm a single woman. They were the only company that I didn't feel was trying to take advantage. It ended up buying a pretty expensive system for it to last for a long time. It was very energy-efficient. The quality was excellent.

From the estimation process through the entire install, I was very pleased with the work from Hoff. Denny Hoff initially provided four options at various price points and broke out the estimates for each system individually so it was really eight estimates. We then asked for additional variations for options that added four more estimates. We then further refined that to come up with the final configuration we ended up having them install. Three people showed up for the install in two trucks at 8AM. I was amazed that they had all of the old system removed within an hour and that by 3PM they had both new systems completely installed. Since this was a new high efficiency system, new intake and exhausts for the system had to be added. In addition, instead of using the existing gas connections, they totally reconfigured the hookups to give a very clean appearance. The condensation drainage tubes also looked much more professional than the original. The men were always very courteous and professional. I feel the installation looks much more professional and than what was originally in the house. In addition, the men were all very patient with all the questions I asked while they worked and the questions were always answered to my satisfaction. Lastly, I'd have to say the area around the system as well as the area they passed through in order to remove and replace the equipment were all cleaner than when they arrived.

Great as usual! This company has done service at my home, my children's home, my friend's homes and now at my business. Always very professional. Quick.. on time and fair prices. MY highest recommendation! Tired of getting ripped off by AC guys??? I sincerely feel based on my experiences and those close to me.. That Hoff Heating and Cooling can be trusted!
