It went very well. Tom was in and out within four hours. He came to give an estimate and was able to do the work the same day! I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone needing immediate assistance.

We recently had our Master Bathroom remodeled by Mark and Chris of Heartland Remodeling. The finished product not only met our expectations but exceeded them both in price and craftsmanship as well Mark and Chris both have upbeat personalities which created a bond of trust between us while they were in our home. They took away the stress and frustration of a project like this. We will be definitely be using them again.

I am very pleased with the work Mark and Chris did on my bathroom remodeling job. Although I had to wait awhile for work to commence (any reliable, quality contractor is booked months in advance) Mark always kept in communication with me and responded promptly to my emails and phone calls. It was definitely worth the wait! The job was completed within a week with little or no discomfort. Attention to detail and clean up were exceptional. I will definitely use this company in the future.

I not only remodeled my bathroom, but reconfigured it as well. I wanted to pick everything myself so I wouldn't end up with a "cookie cutter" bathroom that most companies offer. Mark understood my vision immediately! He and his team were friendly and professional and I couldn't ask for a better result. I love my new bathroom, it's exactly what I wanted! I will be using Heartland for any home remodeling project going forward.

It was simple and flawless.

Excellent experience. Mark was very upfront with what we could expect. Bid the project in late Oct. & indicated it would be a half-day job & they would fit us in between other jobs as they were very busy. Performed work 12/1 in better part of a whole day. Appreciated the fact that he addressed issues that weren't obvious on initial observation. We had used Heartland a # of years previous on a small interior painting project, but had kind of forgotten how thorough they were. Wasn't the lowest estimate, but was confident in what we'd get as a finished product. Will definitely turn to them with a growing list of projects.

They did an excellent job. They are very nice to work with and do a great job. I would hire them again and recommend them to friends.

Mark and his employee did an excellent job. Tore out the ceiling and replaced with new drywall. Painted the ceiling also. It looks great. They were very professional. It was a very messy job and they cleaned up so nothing got in the rest of the house. Would highly recommend this company.

It went horrible.

This is the second job we contracted with Heartland and similar to our first experience this job went well on all counts. We have been very pleased with their work and Mark is pleasure to work with.

We are in the process of contracting a second home remodeling job with Heartland. This (2nd contract) reflects our complete satisfaction even more than we can indicate by this favorable review.

I thought I was going to have to tear down my deck and have a new one built. They came out the same day I called them and told me I didn't need an expensive new deck built. They explained my deck problems, how they could make it sturdy and safe, and how I could save money on the stairs. I was VERY happy!! They told me they had a huge deck job to start and they would fit me in as a one day job when they needed to keep a couple of guys busy. I got exactly what I wanted because I didn't mind waiting little while for these guys. (they told me it was safe to use until they got to it) I've had a year to "test it" and I am SOOO glad I used them.

Very courteous and professional he was flexible in working around our crazy summer schedule. Work looks great!

We found Heartland on Angie's list. Mark came out on a Monday and we had our bid on Wednesday. He was prompt, thorough and offered good advice and suggestions. The bid was very comparable to others that we received. We ended up with another contractor because they could start immediately. However, we would have been very comfortable using Heartland and may do so in the future.

It went great! They fit me into their schedule and then worked in freezing cold wind because they knew it was urgent to me. (Background: we had a large spa delivered by crane because it is on a raised deck over a walkout basement. We paid for a site survey in advance to make sure that everything would go smoothly. However, they failed to notice that the electrical connection from the old spa would not quite reach the new spa's control panel. So it was not connected. They told me what kind of wire and conduit to get and suggested I call an electrician. Furthermore, when they had asked which way I wanted the cover to go on, I explained my preference but asked whether it would matter if it folded away to the same side as the control panel. They said no, it would be fine that way. When they were done, the position of the spa and was not quite what I had wanted and the cover was clearly in the way of the control panel. They were not interested in coming out and fixing it once I had purchased the [wrong] materials because we were so far away from them.) But Heartland took care of it all. I texted them some photos and they knew what would be needed and braved the cold to take care of us.

Mark & his son were both very professional & efficient. All items of work were completed in a most satisfactory & timely manner.

Mark and Chris did an excellent job. Our ceiling has an intricate swirl pattern in the finish that I was worried they would have a hard time matching. It took a couple of trips because they had to let the sheet rock compound dry between applications but in the end they were able to match the pattern to were you can?t tell it was repaired.

I was so please with Heartland Remodeling. We have had them out a number of times for various projects, such as drywall repair, deck joist replacement, etc. They always arrived exactly when expected and did a superb job, including cleaning up afterward. I was also pleasantly surprised that they advised against some project ideas I had because they would not be cost effective for me and instead made some alternative suggestions. Once, I asked for a quote on a small ground-level deck and the owner suggested that a natural looking patio with non-square edges might look better in that area as well as require less maintenance. That's what we did and we totally love it!!

Slow leak at the base of the kitchen cabinet. I could not figure out where the leak was coming from. Rather than calling a licensed plumber ($$$) to assess the leak, I called Mark at Heartland Remodeling. He arrived promptly the next morning. Within fifteen minutes he assessed the problem and tightened an obscure loose fittings which caused the leak. Mark puts his heart into getting at the heart of any maintenance or remodeling issue. When Mark is finished with a job, you know the job is completed correctly and the work area is all cleaned up. My kitchen sink leak may seem like such a trivial repair, however, I can assure you that simple home repair problems like this left undone or fixed incorrectly WILL result in extensive damages and very expensive repairs. I have much confidence in Mary Bornemann's work. I've used Mark for a 1500 sq ft recreation area renovation ($48,000), living room remodeling ($1500), kitchen renovation ($1800), and now, a simple pipe leak. Mark Bornemann and Heartland Remodeling is your answer to "NO JOB TOO (BIG OR) SMALL!"

It came out perfect and he is coming out to do some more work. I found absolutely nothing to complain about.

Owner came and took measurements, following up with a quote by mail. After sending half the payment, we had to wait a while, because apparently cedar siding has to be ordered, at least in the sizes we needed. Then the store said they lost the siding, but then they found it again. Mark called to tell me about the delay, and then called back to tell me they had found the siding. When the team came out to replace the siding, it was very hot, over 100 degrees, but the guys stuck it out and did a great job. Clean up was excellent as well. I will definitely call them for any other home repairs/remodeling.
