"DO NOT RECOMMEND. Raul was nice, we liked him (and his wife) and he did a great job on the repairs he started (drywall/plaster repair). However it took almost 2 months to get 90% of the work done. We were flexible and understanding despite my wife?s frustration with the delays. He actually asked me to front him money for the job not completed which I did (though I know better) because we liked him. Then he had a family emergency (which we were understanding of) and didn?t show up for weeks. It?s been 4.5 months and he has not finished the work we paid him for and refuses to respond to my inquiries about him completing the job. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I?ll be sure to let neighborhoods around me know not to use him. What a shame."

"I chose Carico Drywall because of his attention to detail, the fact he came out to give me an estimate, and the fact that he uses Union Drywall Installers. He was my 3rd bid in my buildout for my garage, and he was the highest bid by far. But the fact that he came to my house, met with me, explained and asked good genuine questions proved to me that he was the correct person to do the job. My garage is 1500sqft (30 ft deep , 50 ft wide) ceiling height is 18ft. At the peak, its roughly 22ft. I used R21 batting in the walls and 6 to 7 inches of open cell spray foam in the ceiling. The shop was drywalled with 5/16 inch drywall, no real need for anything thicker since the insulation keeps most sound dampened. I didnt tackle the drywall, because I felt like that would have taken me forever. Would i recommend Carico to do more projects? Yes I would."

When he sent the bid it seemed reasonable for everything we were asking for. He only did half of the job and said he forgot to add the rest to the bid so that was going to cost double the price. He finally stopped showing up and started asking for checks without the job being completed. If you decide to use Josh, make sure you measure the square footage in the bid before you start the project to avoid what happened to me."
