Contracted with the owner. Seemed like a good guy. He sold and installed 3 blinds on 3 door sized windows in our family room. The middle window was actually a left hand opening door. The blinds he sold us have large cornice or cartridge that the blinds roll up into. The cornice is so large that the door will not open all the way because it's cornice hits the cornice from the window next to it. We contracted with him because we wanted a custom, professional installation. Had we known the door opening would be restricted we would not have agreed to that type installation. Mr owner/salesman turned not so nice when I called him on it. His response was ' what do you expect me to do about it'.

The entire process went very well. Pat and Bruce Deviney do know all about blinds, and I enjoyed working with both of them. The Luminette privacy sheers are an expensive product but worth it. I opted for the room darkening feature as I have a west facing patio door. They do a great job of controlling the glaring sun and heat in the afternoon, and they look great. All About Blinds has a shop with a full-size Luminette display which is much nicer than just looking at sample books. The sidelight shutters completely changed the look of my entry. They look very elegant. Their prices are competitive for high-end products. I priced the Luminettes at one of their competitors that does not have a shop but offers a discount to Angies List members. Interestingly, the price was the same as the All About Blinds quote. All About Blinds also offers an additional 3% discount for paying by check instead of credit card.

We first met with Bruce at the All About Blinds store location on 5/17/13. We had done our research and knew what we were looking for, and were shown the various options for what we were interested in. We chose a specific shutter, got a quote on the spot, agreed it was fair, and set up an on-site appointment. He came to our house on 5/22 to measure our window and place the order. After being custom built by Hunter Douglas, he was back to install it on 6/24. It only took about 30 minutes, and looks great. Incidentally, we had also used this company to do a few minor repairs to blinds in our home, with excellent results as well. We highly recommend All About Blinds for your window covering needs, both for new products and repairs.

A consultation was set up first, when we made the decision to proceed a measuring appointment was made. The product was ordered and it arrived before the estimated date (always a bonus) another appointment was made for installation and it went smoothly and efficiently. The blinds have made a HUGE difference with the temperature of our home.

I wanted to get blinds installed on the day of closing before the actual furniture was moved in so I had a small window of time. Pat came out to the house while it was still in the final stages of construction and measured all the windows. She did have a book for me to look at, but she recommended that I come out to the store to see samples which I did a couple of days later. It's much easier to get a good idea of what something will look like when there is a full sized example to see and most places only offer a sample binder. I thought I had made up my mind, but when I mentioned that I had a cat with claws Pat steered me away from one of my choices. It would have been a more expensive choice if she had not said anything so I am grateful for her guidance. I also have a high window in my bathroom that I wasn't going to cover, but Pat pointed out that the sun will come through there and bounce off the mirror. Again a good suggestion. I placed the order and it came in only about 3 days later. Pat's co-owner husband, Bruce, installed all the blinds on the day we closed. We had a refrigerator delivered on the same day and it was wet and muddy that day. The delivery men brought nothing to protect my floors so Bruce laid out the card board from the blinds for them. Above and beyond his responsibility. Although they are not the least expensive choice, they are wonderful to work with and have a truly excellent product. I would highly recommend them.

I gave them $1,500 and I will pay the balance when they are finished. They are family operated. It takes time for them to make the drapes. She said that it will probably take 6 weeks. I haven't bought blinds before so I don't know how their price compares.

The owner, Bruce Deviney, was on time for our initial meeting and provided several different alternatives to us. Bruce was very good with coordinating with us. The shades that we chose were installed by Bruce and his helper on Jan 24th. He did a great job with the installation and got everything done efficiently. After his departure, I discovered that I had no electricity in the sunroom. I called the next day. Bruce and his electrician came over two days later, found the problem, and fixed it. One of the long screws that was used to secure one of the shades had penetrated the electrical wire. The problem was quicklly fixed and everything was put back to its original state. I reallly like the ability to remotely raise and lower the shades. Bruce took the time that I needed to explain how the remote worked, where the batteries are located in the blind, etc. I would recommend All About Blinds to anyone.

I stopped by their business because I wanted to see what they had to show me and ask questions. Bruce's daughter was there and showed me the different kinds of blinds and shutters and explained in depth what I could expect from each of them. She gave me recommendations and was kind enough to inform me of a rebate I could qualify for when I purchased. We scheduled the appointment and Bruce, her father, came to my condo bringing books of samples. He showed me what he recommended and took the measurments of all the windows and the door. I ordered blinds for the four windows and door on the main floor with the idea of checking my budget before ordering the rest. I decided to order the remaining and even settled on putting in a shutter for the bathroom window. The coverings didn't come in as quickly as Bruce thought and I would have missed getting my rebate if he had not sent off the paperwork for me. (Thank you, Bruce) My blinds are now up. The shutter has not come in yet, but it is expected soon. The blinds look great and I am happy Bruce recommended the color he did for my upstairs room. I love the fact that I can open them from the top or the bottom. I will definately contact them again if I decide to change my other windows. They are very professional and take pride in their work. Almost forgot to say that they downsized their showroom and have some very nice pieces they had been using for sale. I purchased a lovely vase at half price. I don't know where I am going to put it yet, but could not pass up the bargain.

We were very satisfied with them. We were satisfied with the price. We contacted them, as my wife had heard about them. They came by and showed us what they had, the cost and our options. We paid for them and they came and installed them. It was a straight forward business transaction. They were nice and friendly people. It was just as we had hoped. The price was good or we would not have gone with them. We were very satisfied with the quality.

We called for an estimate on blinds or shades for 4 windows. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted. They gave logical suggestions. We actually ended up buying a less expensive product that what we thought we would get before they came. They did not try to oversell every window in the house. Fast installation without any problems. The blinds were installed in bedrooms and laundry room. They look great!

I had been looking for the right window treatment for 8 windows in our home and was originally wanting shutters. After meeting with Bruce in his family-owned business in O'Fallon, MO on a Saturday afternoon (when no other businesses of this type were open), I was quite impressed with his knowledge and expertise. He steered me away from the shutter idea due to the shallow inset of our window frames. He showed me the Hunter-Douglas products on display, and I really liked the wooden shades. He did not try to sell me more than I was needing. He came out the next week to take measurements of my windows, which he did quickly and efficiently. We ended up buying the wood composite shades which Bruce installed about 3 weeks from placing the order. It took him less than 2 hours. The shades look wonderful and the quality is excellent. I would highly recommend "All About Blinds". Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service for a reasonable price.

This was the 2nd job that Bruce did for me. He installed blinds throughout a townhouse that I own. He was very helpful with the selection, recommending cost savings and options. Installation was quick and easy. I have used him twice now and would use him again in the future.

Bruce made it very easy. He knew my budget and never tried to up-sell. In fact, he offered more price-sensitive options to the blinds I was leaning toward. He also did not rush my decision, and was willing to spend the time needed. He was punctual, called to tell me he was on his way, and was expeditious in completing the work. I will likely be contacting them for future work in a different home.

They are really professional about blinds. They came and did the measurements before we closed on our home so we would have them installed before we moved in. They were 20% cheaper then the other bid we had.
