Action Home Inspection STL

This is our first time buying a used home, so we were nervous. We asked around (even on Facebook) and NO ONE seemed to be able to recommend a GOOD home inspection company....all friends/family could tell me was who NOT to use!! Frustrated, i called around to the few remaining companies that didn't have any bad reviews and finally came upon Action Home Inspection. I discussed our situation with the owner, Brian Epperson, who was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to do our home inspection within the SAME WEEK! Not only was he prompt and professional, he was also ATTENTIVE... i've never seen a home inspector that actually LISTENS to the customer. Most do their home inspection and shrug off anyone who tries to ask questions or offer any input! This guy was phenomenal. He checked EVERYTHING... things we would've never thought of and this is our THIRD home! My husband was impressed with how thorough the inspection was and how patient Brian was with his questions/concerns. We learned SO much from Brian!! I will never buy another home (new or used) without this guy!! You see, our real estate agent wanted us to go with a particular company that they "recommend," but everyone i talked to stated that they had miserable experiences with that company and to not allow our agent to pick for us! SO glad we listened to that advice!!! Isn't that a conflict of interest anyway?? I mean, would that "suggested" company be working on OUR behalf or the REALATOR's? Well, we decided not to take any chances... we wanted a NON-BIASED opinion about this house!! Brian had no vested interest in whether or not the sale went through...only that we were INFORMED CONSUMERS regarding the true conditon of this home. We can't thank him enough for his thorough inspection and his candor! I left the inspection feeling really good about our purchase now that we're aware of what repairs need to be factored into our offer on this home!! Brian was extremely professional and knowledgeable .... but he was also witty and fun. He made this dreaded event an upbeat experience. People always say that buying a used home is like buying a used car... you just don't know what you're going to get. NOT ANYMORE!!!! In fact, I was left wondering whether or not this guy would be available the nex time we buy a used car!? lol Seriously, you will NOT regret calling this guy.... it's an inspection education you can't afford to buy a home without!!!!
