Description of Work: Replaced attic fan and secured a banister. However, they left a 1" gap in the ceiling as the new fan was slightly smaller than the old one. My 19 year old daughter was the only one home - had I been there he never would have left it in that condition.

Well not sure why I got a "C" rating. The work i did do was great. The railing was very sturdy, I even ran to the store to buy materials a new post and brackets. The attic fan was installed correctly. In this case just out of all fairness; the job went over the 2 hrs. and i had to go to my next appointment. If (Member name removed) would have called and requested or even just inquired about the space we would have set an appointment and addressed the issue. When your not home to approve the work or even give the go ahead for the dry wall repair. Its hardly fare to blame me for the judgement call. I did the best i could with what i had. My intentions where good.

Description of Work: Beaty home improvement was on time as scheduled. He was able to put a gate around an old blower flew to keep the squirrels out of my home. Beaty Home Improvement also patched a couple of areas by putting some wire mesh and foam caulking in a couple of holes under my sink and stove area to keep out rodents.

Description of Work: He arrived late. The tasks I had assigned him were simple, hanging pictures on plaster walls, hanging outdoor screens, and fixing the stopper in a bath sink. It was clear from the get go he was dragging his feet. Picture hanging is not rocket science! Once I got my point across he did all the tasks in less than an hour. The cost was for 2 hours of handyman services!

All the tasks she wanted where completed in the 2 hours and I called ahead to let her know i would be late due to length of the previous project . I don't understand what the complaint is. I was very respectful the whole time. To say I was dragging my feet is a false statement. She provided two types of wall mount hangers and insisted I use one of the two certain types of hangers. I recommended not to use that hanger but to use the other. She continued to insist saying her brother used these and this is the best to use. So, I respectfully and slowly explained why this is a faulty clip and she became visibly and verbally irritated. So I agreed and tried the hooks she suggested. It so happened they didn't work because of the duct work behind the wall. So, I stopped and alerted her to the situation and said we may need to use the other ones. She started to scold me and was speaking to me with an aggressive tone as if i where doing something wrong. I felt very awkward and felt like just leaving because of the way this person was talking to me. I did not. After we used the correct brackets I finished quickly with a smile. EVERYTHING WAS DONE CORRECT ON TIME.

Description of Work: Things went very well. I called Beatty home improvement to replaster around a sliding glass door,build some cabinet shelves, and replace a kitchen faucet,replace a door bell button.Joshua arrived on time, was very pleasant and courteous.My husband and I felt he was very knowledgeable,got right to work and finished the projects in a timely manner.We definitely will call him for future projects

This review is false and to be honest, irrelevant. This customer is attempting to lash out at my company because she is fully aware that she owes $600 for work that has already been done. I have been attempting to contact this customer via email, phone and certified mail, and she still insists on stealing from my company, which technically should be reported. I have been very patient and gracious in the fact that i have yet to contact the authorities.

Description of Work: While Joshua is a nice person, much of the work that was done ended up not working out. Gutter repair ended up failing and leaked after his repair. Tile work had to be re-done. He did fix my toilet just fine. In the end, he did not have availability to finish the tasks that I had.

The gutter repair [removed member name] is talking about is false and he must be confused i did not repair the gutter, I cleaned it out and clean the tree limbs off the roof. I repaired the metal and garage trim that was damaged by the leaking gutter and it appeared there was nothing wrong besides lack of cleaning. Tile went well we just ran out of time to finish. I do most of my work myself however i made my employees available to [member name removed] and we agreed that that was ok and I didn't charge him for any unfinished work. SO i instructed my employee to call and set appt. which he did and [member name removed] set appt. with him and according to my guy [member name removed] got his days mixed and called my guy and then got frustrated and hung up phone. SO i tried to complete to further complicate things there we could only work one day a week and we never set consecutive appts. on the final day of work i got wind of the need to get this work done faster because before he made it seem as if one day every once in awhile was good for his schedule but he was work towards a sublet of the property. so the work i did do looked great its not a very fair rating if you ask me because everything worked and looked really well and given the fact we only spent 13 hours over there we got so much done.
