Description of Work: We purchased a new furnace/central air, they installed and even corrected a airflow vent that was too small when the house was built ( we had issues with the airflow and had asked the company that installed the original furnace/air when the house was built, they said everything was fine; we had that company out almost every year with issues and had to pay the service fee everytime, we also had a duct cleaning company out and our issue was never resolved UNTIL Larsons corrected the size of the return duct... no more problems... we spent a lot of money on service calls prior to Larsons!

Description of Work: They were supposed to be getting my ceiling vents in the basement fixed to be able to zone it without having to add an outside a/c unit. After. Excuse after excuse it became too late because my contractor closed the ceiling in! This is after frank larson had sold the business,i want to add.

Description of Work: I needed hot water heater repair or replacement. I had a discount coupon and I am a senior which they advertise senior discounts but neither was given. He told me the price to replace the hot water heater. I presented the coupon then he said he had not figured the price correctly and it then increased. No effort was made to see if the old water heater could be fixed. I paid a very high price for a 30 gal. Larson heater. Since I was without hot water, and I'm a senior who lives alone without family help, I was at a disadvantage so far as shopping around was concerned.

This customer is mistaken. According to our records this customer was given the $50 off coupon. We installed a 40 gallon Bradford White water heater, one of the top rated water heaters on the market. Furthermore, we provide a total cost of the job before we begin. So the customer knows the cost before we start a job. Giving customers the choice to accept or decline our proposal.

Larson's service men were out 2 days after our agreement was made and worked the entire day to replace our central outside a/c unit. It was a lot of work as we kept the furnace air-handling unit which they had to pull out and build it back up to allow the new a/c unit to properly work. They replaced the gas line to the furnace and replaced the condesation line which was plugged. Upon completion of work, no problems at this time. Will call them again if we need assistance. Tku Mark and the 3 repairmen service men that were involved.
Description of Work: Came out the first of August, 2015 to replace parts and freon in an a/c unit that was over 15 years old. Was more than 50% low on freon. Repairman from Larson's reported we had approx. 20 days to get a credit on work performed should we decide to upgrade to a new central a/c unit. After the 20 days expired are Central a/c wasn't cooling labor day weekend. Called Larson's the next day and Mark granted us an approx $300.00 credit (1/2 of the bill and after our time frame expired) and also allowed us a 5% angie's list discount to upgrade to a new central a/c unit.

We had been customers of Larson. During the winter, we called them four times in less than three months. Each time they supposedly fixed the problem but never did. The last time we called them, a supervisor or lead person came out. He told us we needed a brand new furnace and lots of other work. The price quoted was around $7,000 with only two days to take advantage of this price. We called someone else to get a second opinion. The second opinion told us we did not need a new furnace but only repairs and some duct work. We paid less than $700 to resolve the entire issues we were having. Larson oversold us, tried to make lots of money on repairs and a furnace that we did not need. We spent hundreds of dollars with them that never resolved our issues. They advertise a lot but don't select them based on their advertising. Check around because there are other companies that have integrity and excellent customer service that you can trust.
Description of Work: We had issues with our furnace and called Larson four times in less than three months. They kept "fixing" the issues but never resolved the issues.

Wanted almost three times the cost of the part (checked with friend who is in the HVAC business). |But did have Larson come later to give estimate on complete replacement of 16 yr old system. There price is high but still fair. Will get other prices before deciding. |Have used Larson before, they do the job well.
Description of Work: Serviced my gas furnace, and changed my filter. |They discovered a crack in the inducer motor housing which could leak carbon monoxide so they disabled unit.

Called Larson and set up an appointment for 8:00 am on November 14, 2013. About 8:40 am I got a call from tech who explained that he had a meeting at the office and was running late. He would be their about 9:30 am. So I called the office to reschedule and office girl said "he went to his second appointment 1st." Conflicting stories but decided to reschedule. So we scheduled a 8:00 am appointment for Monday, November 18, 2013. They no showed again! So I called the office about 8:35 am and got no apology just more excuses ! The guy that answered actually defended the tech again. I understand that people run late but everyone has a cell phone so at least call the client. I live in Nixa but work in Springfield so time is money! Being a realtor / property manager that deals with repairs for a living this was unacceptable. I will never call this company again. This is my first bad experience from Angie's list.

We have an annual service with them. Their service is excellent. Their price is very reasonable, and the people there are very cordial. They come when they said they are going to come. They call you if they are in the middle of another problem, or if they would be delayed in their appointment. Also, they are prompt in their work.
Description of Work: I used Larson Heating Air & Plumbing for heating and air conditioning general maintenance. They made sure that our humidifier is connected and the furnace as well as air conditioning are working.

We have used Larson for over 15 years at three different properties. Their owner, staff and technicians are good folks that take care of their customers. They might not be the absolute cheapest in town, but I know when I call them, they will be honest, do the job right and stand behind their work.
Description of Work: Cleaned the furnace of water boiler based system ($300). Also installed a York hvac and air handling unit at our rental property two years ago ($5800). Also replaced the furnace and air handling unit in a 125-year old home after the basement flood 14 years ago ($2500).

They have always done excellent job for me. They are very friendly and always willing to get right on to the job. They are very easy to talk to. They also promised to send somebody any time if the heating system goes off but I hadn’t any problem till now. They respond very quickly and I have always had good experience wit them. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Larson Heating & Air Cond Inc for heating and A/c. I have been using them for several years. The last time I used them was last fall for replacing the filter and cleaning of the heating system. I have a contract with them.
