Knight Heating & Air have excellent products and very skilled technicians. They are very prompt and very dependable. I would recommend my heating and air conditioning in the upper echelon of professional people.

Called to get estimate to have filters installed in ceiling. It took three months for them to come out. I had used them for years before, but I believe after my last experience, I would not use them again.

They just went out of their way to provide good service at a time that was a very busy time for them. I would recommend my friends to use their services in the future if they need to.

They seemed a little more professional than other companies when they came out to give the appraisal. They were willing to do all of the paperwork in order for me to get my rebates. I would definitely use them in the future.

The gentleman that came on a Friday evening to diagnose our problem was very nice, very helpful and very fair. This was memorial weekend so the office had closed early and he was techically on an "emergency" call even though we called at 4:10pm. He charged us only $70 for the diagnosis and promised us the company would call the following Tuesday with estimates for repair/replacement. He also told us that if we had the system repaired or replaced that that $70 would go toward those costs. That did happen, however the estimates were mostly higher than we'd expected so we called several (4 more) other companies for estimates as well. Since we'd been using Knight for our home for many years we trusted them and decided to go with them even though their price was in the middle range of the estimates we'd recieved. That is until I discovered that their estimate did NOT include a necessary thermostat for the Heat Pump (you can't use a traditional thermostat for a heat pump). The type of thermostat our second choice was using was available for purchase for <$300 on Amazon. When I called Knight and asked about the thermostat they insisted that that same brand would be $600 and that their insurance would not allow them to use any thermostat that they didn't purchase themselves. He absolutely refused to budge on the price telling me what his cost was (~$360 I think he said)--I even agreed to pay his supposed cost, but he insisted on my paying the full $600 to cover labor. That despite the fact that they KNEW when they gave my estimate that a new thermostat would be necessary AND that it takes about 15 minutes to install the thermostat on a $5000+ heat pump system. Furthermore, he did not want to credit me the $70 diagnostic fee (above), since I wasn't replacing the entire system (furnace, AC, everything)!! He eventually relented on that when confronted with what the repair guy had told me. But I eventually decided to go with another company as I felt this sort of penny pinching and gouging was inappropriate and disrepsectful to a long time customer who was already spending a large amount of money on a new heat pump.

They are prompt and come pretty quickly when you have a problem. They fix the problem and tell you what it was and explain it to you.

It was a weekend so it was a time-and-a-half call, which is why the repair was $120. However, they were very prompt and did a great job. I have a long history with this company and have always been satisfied. They operate with integrity; otherwise, I wouldn’t have used them for 35-plus years. Have always been pleased with their service as they are very professional and dependable. While I don’t have anything to compare their prices to, in this instance I felt they were reasonable for a Sunday evening trip. Also, they didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t need. Will continue to use their services and would recommend them to others.
