Yes, it's true the Extra Mile home inspectors go the "extra mile"! Absolutely outstanding service from a veteran owned and operated company. Their up front pricing located on the website is informative and lets customers know what to expect when it comes to servicing expenses. There is no guessing costs here. Inspectors were prompt, professional, detailed, and meticulous in their responsibilities. They provided me with a thorough inspection report which included potential problem areas and safety concerns. It gave me the confidence in knowing that my home was safe for purchase. The inspectors did a very thorough inspection of the property. It took them about 4 hrs and 2 men to complete the inspection on a 3,000/sf home and two barns. They were able to show me the pictures they took while onsite before leaving and I received the inspection report the next day. The one negative is the inspection report itself. It is not a professional report, at best it looks like an excel spreadsheet template. There were some areas of confusion and I noticed several misspellings and grammar mistakes; however, the quality and thoroughness of the inspection more than made up for any shortcomings in the report. If they invested some time/money into their report they would enhance their professional image. The two inspectors were professional in dress and appearance. No smoking or chewing and were cordial throughout the inspection. As already mentioned I'll mark them down b/c of the quality of the report but I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I found their name on a long list of local home inspection companies. I did a web search and found the company's site easily. It was the only one I found with a list of pricing which was really nice. They offered discounts to vets and seniors which was something I had not seen from their competitors. The day my realtor called to set up the inspection, I received a call from the office manager to confirm the appointment, go over what to expect,and payment options. The inspectors, Robert and Allan, showed up early and went right to work. They were personable and professional. They took pictures of issues found and went over everything in a detailed report which I received in less than an hour after they left. I would recommend them to anyone who looking for a fast, affordable, and quality home inspection.

We had a great experience with Extra Mile Home Inspection. They were early to our appointment and were extremely professional. Two men showed up; one to deal with the exterior of the home and mechanical issues, and the other for all interior items. Since we were new home buyers (first home), we wanted to have someone take a look at the basic mechanics of the home and let us know of any issues. The inspection comes with a written report and pictures afterwards for your records. We took any issues they found and immediately forwarded to our builder for repair/replacement. It was so nice to have it in that form already- it made that process a breeze. They answered all of our questions and we would recommend and use them in the future. They were recommended to us by a friend.
