When we realized this particular home was up for auction (along with two others) and a great price, we were very interested. I attempted to contact Ms. Watts in order to view the homes, and never received a reply phone call. I had to contact the owner directly in order to view two of the homes. When we went to the auction the next day and I introduced myself to Ms. Watts, she claimed she hadn't received my phone call until very late in the evening. After the auction was completed and we had succesfully bid for one of the homes, we sat down to do paperwork. We requested to go see the house again, but we were told she did not have a working key. This was despite the fact that she had been very vocal all morning with auction-goers all about personal family problems and was expressing her desire to leave town for the weekend as quickly as possible. Throughout the whole process, Ms. Watts was horrible about returning phone calls, and we often had to phone her multiple times to reach her. When we finally were able to go see the house again, she was supposed to bring us our copies of the contract. She came on time, but "forgot" the contract and had to go back to get it. Once again, her demeanor and dress were very unprofessional and we heard lots of personal family information. After fighting to get her to send a copy of the contract to our bank, the copy they received wasn't legible. Many more phone calls later, and the bank still never received a legible copy. The title company eventually had to provide the paperwork. All of this delayed our closing date by over a week. At the closing, which Ms. Watts tried to push back initially, she didn't even show up. She had another realtor come in her place, again citing personal family dilemmas. This Realtor, however, didn't even have the keys to the property to hand over. So we had to go back to the home to meet with Ms. Watts to receive the keys. We realize that Ms. Watts was working for the seller and not for us, but overall the service was lousy. It may have been a small commission for her, but despite that the service was extremely poor. She seems to have no professionalism and we would certainly not recommend anyone to use her services.
Description of Work: Ms. Watts represented the seller in a home we bought at an auction in Seneca, MO.
