George was great to work with for the design. Workers were punctual, did a good job, & maintained a clean work area.

George came out on multiple occasions to estimate and discuss options. Once we decided on an approach, the work was completed quickly and the quality was excellent. There were a couple issues with clean-up following the work, but George was very responsive about addressing them. It was a pleasure to work with George and Landesign.

The work went well and when I called for some problems they came out promptly to correct.

Very smooth, one minor hiccup. Our outside hose spicket leaks to the indoors and the crew used this spicket. Did not know they were going to be needing this or I would have let them know to not use it.

We have been impressed with Landesign. On our first project we had a miscommunication about the scope of work to be done. As soon as it was clarified it was rectified. Literally within a couple hours. We have already had them come back for a second project and we would definitely work with Landesign again!Everyone worked hard to get the jobs done well. They had extra topsoil so they graded an additional part of our yard and spread the topsoil there as well. It was a great surprise!

Had a couple glitches in the first phase of the project, so for the second phase, I just made sure the work order specified to detail exactly what I wanted. I am satisfied with the end result.

We couldn't have been happier. I got several bids for the first job, completed in the fall of 2015 -- a large project including a new patio, planters and seawall as well as plantings. Not only did Landesign come in with the lowest bid, but also the most creative and practical design. The owner, George Tucker, patiently worked through all of the details with us before the project began, tweaking the design and then helping us pick out the very best materials and plants to meet our needs. We live on a lake, and boats drive by slowly to admire the work and shout out compliments. The crew we had working were the hardest working bunch we've ever seen. They were courteous, cooperative, knowledgable, and efficient -- and left things picked up each night! When it was time to replace the landscaping and add lighting in the front this year (fall, 2016) I again got more than one bid. And, once again, Landesign came in with a reasonable bid and a great design. This crew was as good as the last and the end result just as nice. Also, there has been great follow-up after completion -- coming out to check on things and make any adjustments necessary. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Landesign.

Strange way to run a business

From the moment I met their owner, George, when he came to do the estimate, I knew this company was heads above the rest. The estimate was not only lower than everyone else, but they were way more professional! When the crew arrived, they cleaned up the yard every night before they left and even kept my driveway and street clean to not disrupt the neighbors. The crew was so nice, worked so hard and their work was precise! The new retaining wall is excellent and looks awesome! I have never been so impressed with a company and I will continue to recommend them. I found their review on Angie's list and am glad to type another for them. Highly recommend!

I must say from the very beginning working with George the owner down to their crew what a first class company. Once they got started they were there to explain what they were doing each day. I did make a few changes along the way and they were extremely flexible with our needs. It took me a year and half to find the right contractor. That's why I joined Angie's List because I got so frustrated with contractors coming out but never calling back with any ideas or just never calling back. I called Landesign and George was out within a day and already had ideas drawn out while he was there. He emailed me with a complete drawing of the entire project within 2 days and I signed the contract within a week or so. I would recommend Landesign to everyone looking for any type of landscaping project. My wife and I could not be happier. Thank you George and your entire team...excellent job!!!

My wife and I had our house resided and new railings and stairs added to our porch this spring. The house looked great but the rotted tie wall in front and the steep concrete ramp from our porch to the driveway needed to be replaced. We turned to Angie?s List and found several landscape companies we wanted to bid on our projects. This is when we had George Tucker of Landesign come out to see what he had to suggest. George's initial visit was to look at the areas in question, he took some measurements and we discussed what my wife and I were looking for. He sent us a formal quote within the next several days. My wife and I compared George's quote against quotes from other landscaping companies. We invited George out for a second visit to discuss his quote and answer a few questions and bounce some additional ideas off of him. George rebid based on our new ideas and in short order a down payment was sent and the work began the following week. The Landesign crew, Coy and Hector, began first thing Tuesday morning by tearing out the old tie wall and by the end of the day; the majority of the new wall was in place. The following morning, Coy returned with a different co-worker, Todd. They finished up on the tie wall and once that was done, they tore out the old concrete ramp. As soon as the ramp was gone, they laid the first Rosetta Stone Step at the edge of our drive way. The next day and a half was spent building up the area with dirt and positioning the remaining stone steps, sixteen in total. Coy and Todd went out of their way to rearrange the steps several times to make sure everything fit properly and looked good, which was no easy feat due to the weight of the stones. All in all, Coy and Todd did a fantastic job and my wife and I couldn?t have been happier the way everything turned out. Now it's our turn since we decided that we wanted to try our hand on transplanting existing plants. I should add that during his first visit, George also gave us a bid on a series of retaining walls and steps leading up to our back yard. So, we may be seeing the Landesign team here again in the near future.

Bad just another bad Angie's List provider that pays to be on her list but don't want to work

It was a messy operation but there was no avoiding it given the excavation work and the cutting of the pavers. The project lasted a bit over one week and met or exceeded expectations. George was very easy to work with.

We spent months searching for someone to repair the leak in our existing waterfall and improve the plantings. The party that put in the water feature would not repair the waterfall or even come out to look at the problem. Landesign spent a considerable amount of time to locate the leak and repair it. Something that three others parties were unable to do. And the new landscaping is great. I highly recommend Landesign.
