Description of Work: Landesign repaired a retaining wall that had sunk down since the construction of our home (Landesign did not build the wall originally). We got about 5 bids for the project. Their bid was not the lowest but they were the most responsive and punctual by far. They scheduled the visit for the bid the same day that I called. George arrived promptly, calling in advance to let me know that he was on his way. He got us an estimate the same day and provided the formal bid within 2 days, as promised. The work crew also showed up on time, as scheduled and finished the work the same day - as promised! George called later to ask how things went and to make sure that we were pleased with the repair (we were!). The final bill came the following week for the bid amount, minus supplies that they did not need to use. We have already discussed having them doing a larger project for us next year. Terrific company!

 + 0 moreMy wife and I moved here from the Chicago area and built a new home in O?Fallon. Being in the construction industry as an electrical contractor for over 30 years, we?re pretty critical of tradespeople, procedures and quality. George and his crews proved very easy work with. George prepared the preliminary drawings for the landscaping and patio design and after a few revisions produced the final plans. His crews went to work efficiently per his schedule and baring a few rain delays finished on time. Through the course of the construction process we made a few adjustments and changes to the project which Landesign handled without any grumbling or complaining. The end result was better than we had planned. We will be continuing on with Landesign in the spring for Phase II of our landscaping project without any hesitation or reservations.  + -1 moreThings went well. It took a few weeks and was a mess, of course, but it looks good now, even though I haven't started on the new plantings yet. Landesign is for people who love nature and want to invest in their property.
Description of Work: Landesign removed most of my existing plantings and created new areas, including limestone walls, berms with limestone outcroppings, and a French drain. George and his guys are experienced, knowledgeable and creative.

 + -1 moreMy experience with them was great and everything assembled great. I only used their services one particular time and they did a really good job, I would recommend them. What was so great about this company is that the owner actually came out and was able to draw and give a written estimate right on the spot. He was knowledgeable with the area and all the different landscaping trends and he delivered his promise within the time frame they mentioned. They offered a good warranty with what they did and I just think that it is a really great group of guys that they are working out there with. I have even recommended them to friends and family.

Description of Work: They have done work at three of my homes and my office. They have done complete landscaping work for my home over the years. At work they re did our landscaping. They also do our regular mowing at my home. They have also subcontracted their tree service work. That provider was also really good.

 + -1 moreThe overall process went well. There was a dely in getting them to schedule a date to come to my house. I faxed in a signed contract but had to call to get them to come to the house. However, when it was finally scheduled, they did a very good job. The tree they planted was a very large, healthy Red Maple (larger than I thought it would be). They reseeded the area they worked in and covered it with straw.
Description of Work: Cut down a dead tree, grounded out stump, and planted a new tree.
