Don and his son were absolutely wonderful to work with. They worked until they found the structural problem in my basement,repaired it,and then worked patiently and diligently with me to remodel the space to fit my current needs. They were always doing "little" things unasked to enhance the space and we worked together to create a bedroom, play/recreation area for my grandchildren and the laundry area. They enclosed an unused closet space under part of the stairs into a genealogy closet with rolling bins underneath to house cardtables and chairs. Then they opened the space under the entrance area for easy access to the water shut-off and a storm shelter for me as well as additional storage. The door to this space has an attached bookcase to the room side for the children's books. They constructed a floor to ceiling storage space with pull-out draws for the children's toys and shelf storage above for me. They replaced the lighting, ceiling, walls, and utility room floor, added additional outlets,and refinished the woodwork and existing closet. They painted a large "chalkboard" and "white board" art center for the children with framing around it so the children wouldn't get chalk on the walls, and although I didn't want doors on the new partition, they put woodwork in so that doors could be added at any time. They tried to keep the space as clean as possible and carried away all trash and debris. They were courteous and kind and stopped to fix some little things in the house that were giving me difficulty since the loss of my husband. I would recommend them highly to anyone needing any kind of construction work done. Previously, Don sided our house and put on a new roof, so I know he also does well with those kinds of projects. I definitely give them an A+!
