AC of KC

The owner of ACofKC, Jon Webb, presented a compelling case of a small business owner with Christian values who could be counted on for high quality work and dependable service as needed. We contracted for a new AC/furnace system and it was installed. Unfortunately, operational problems started where the system would not cool properly (system would kick off). Recently, the heating unit had problems and, at some point somehow, wires to the AC unit were found to be cut. Mr. Webb turned out to not exhibit either professionalism or Christian values in how he responded to the service needs. After many attempts, missed appointment times, and ultimately just not responding to messages at all, we had to go to another service provider who told us the unit was not installed properly in several instances including a violation of code. There were quality issues with both the furnace and the AC installations. The lack of quality installation would have been bad enough, but the really disappointing part was being sold on trustworthy professionalism and personal character ... two things clearly not demonstrated at all. Really frustrating, sad and unacceptable performance. We feel we gave this individual every opportunity to stand behind his installation including notice we would be responding to Angie's List. He stopped communicating with us totally. This situation has been reported to the BBB and the manufacturer of the HVAC unit. Buyer beware!

Jon was very professional. He showed up on time, cleaned up everything, hauled off old equipment, and price was exactly as quoted. I did not authorize auto renewal of AL. I will decide on renewal at one year point.

Jon Webb is an outstanding provider with high character and Christian values. He was very professional, courteous and thorough in his estimate and work. His price could not be approached by other well-known HVAC providers. I would highly recommend ACofKC for any HVAC needs.
