ROHRER PAINTING INC

It was a spec home. The communication was awful. He asked what color we wanted the shutters and doors. We asked for the specific color of the house, which was already painted. He said, "Go up and look." We knew it was green but we wanted specifics. He seemed unaware of his own house. The inspection noted lots of oversights. No screens, failure to cover shingle nails, ground too close to siding, lots of areas that needed caulking and other sealing, doors that were not properly adjusted, and still no shutters or proper front door. We were assured that all would be complete within a week or the first bout of warm weather. It's been two months. Warm, dry weather has occurred repeatedly. So far, out of 12 different categories of defects noted by the inspector or the original agreement, only one category has been addressed (1 of 3 doors has been adjusted) and four more popped up within two weeks. We noticed paint splotches (the painter was there on the day of the inspection), white peeking through the paint, another area not sealed properly, and our master shower door droops so severely that the master shower is now unusable. Butch has been unresponsive. His agent has not been helpful. In 87 days, we're filing a lawsuit. Based on what I have heard from my neighbors, there will still be plenty of unfinished work for the lawyers to fight over.

BUTCH HAD THE CREW THERE ON TIME. THE HOUSE WAS PAINTED ON SCHEDULE AND WE WERE HAPPY.
