Our first contract fell through, and we we decided to go with Premier again on our second contract. And they again did not disappoint! They gave a discount for being a return customer, showed up early, and happily explained everything going on with the home. I honestly don't know why you would pick a another inspection company over these guys. They are easily the best in town!

Fast, yet very thorough. Professional and extremely friendly. Our inspector made sure we knew not just what needed action but why getting it fixed was important. The inspection was done exceptionally well.

The homeowners are having the repairs completed before the completion of sale. John Browning was the inspector and he did an outstanding job. He was very polite and professional. He answered questions we had, and explained them in terms so we could understand. He worked constantly and vigorously over the entire property even when it was slightly raining. We are very pleased with this inspection.

John showed up a early and took his time thoroughly inspecting the entire home top to bottom. As he worked through the home he fully explained all of his concerns. In less than 24 hours we had a 37 page report fully detailing every item, including pictures. John was friendly and professional, and I would for sure hire Premier again.

We bought a new construction home and had a one year warranty that is almost up. We had Mark Pence come and do an inspection to make sure we hadn't missed anything in the 10 months we've been living in the house. He took our concerns into consideration and checked those in addition to the normal inspection checklist. He was able to allay our concerns in some cases and let us know the why behind things being ok. In other cases, he brought up areas that should be a concern that we didn't know about. He was very kind and informative and didn't mind us being underfoot during his inspection. I was very happy from the initial contact of making the appointment through the end of the receipt of the inspection paperwork.

The inspector did a fantastic job. The house had the second worse electrical box ever made and was quick to point it out and tell us how dangerous it was. I am going to have them come and inspect my house that I am going to sell because I know they will make sure I have no surprises when I go to sell it. You cannot go wrong if you use their services.

The inspection was extremely thorough and well done. My brother-in-law who has been a structural engineer for over 40 years said that it was the best he had ever seen. The thoroughness for a novice like me, however, caused more anxiety that probably was necessary. All in all a wonderful work.

Great, very detailed and professional

Mark Pence was the inspector. He came 30 minutes before the scheduled time to perform the inspection. He used ladders to check the roof. When I came at the scheduled time, he said he had already completed the external and roof inspection. I asked if I could accompany him on the inspection and ask questions, he said he preferred to do this in a sequence and with concentration. He was willing to answer any questions, but he needed to complete the inspection by himself. I was free to perform the inspection by myself. After the inspection, he explained his critical findings and answered all of my questions. My wife and I do ask a lot of questions, but he was patient enough to answer everyone he could. His report was very detailed and helped me to get almost everything accepted by the seller to be repaired. The one complaint I do have is that when I asked him if he inspected the roof, he said he used the extendable ladder. But in the report, he clearly mentions that even with the ladder he did not actually go on the roof. He use binoculars and took pictures.

John was great. He was very professional, and arrived early to start surveying the roof/exterior of the home. Once we arrived, John went over what he would do and asked us if we had any areas of concern in the house. He was very thorough and made sure we were comfortable with everything. While going from room to room, he was always willing to answer questions we had or show us areas that he was particularly concerned about. I felt confident that his experience and professionalism gave us a great understanding of the house--he was always working with our best interests in mind. The entire inspection took about two hours, and John went over areas we needed to address at the end. He did the inspection on a Saturday, and we had a 34 page report first thing in the morning on Monday, as well as the written termite report. The radon scan takes 48 hours, so it was delivered later on Monday. The report itself was very easy to read and broke down the house room by room. Action items and areas of attention were called out in different color ink, making it easy to see what needed the most attention. I would definitely hire them again.

Mark was very thorough. He found several major problems with this house as well as some work done by the homeowner that was not according to code. We cancelled the contract based on the expense to fix these problems. We will definitely call Mark again when we find another home to purchase. He saved us from making a very expensive mistake.

Mark was punctual, a good communicator, professional, and very personable. He made us well aware of the items he felt were the most important to note, gave some good advice, and provided a very detailed inspection report with lots of pictures and descriptions. Super friendly and very easy to talk to, I would suggest him and his crew to anyone looking for a detailed, honest, and accurate inspection.

First impression: friendly, professional, straight forward. Mr Pence took his time examining my home. Starting with the outside, he pointed out details of a couple of items that needed to be fixed. He explained why and what steps to take. He was very thorough. He entered every room and made sure every faucet, toilet, door, smoke detector, and window worked with ease. He used the stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal and fridge to check for appliance use. Showed me how to adjust my heater's/AC flow through out home. Checked ALL my appliances for recall notices. He answered every question I had and took the time to explain his answers. The staff was friendly and polite, and took the time to call me back and confirm. Contract was available to download, review and confirm online. I received an email a few days before reminding me of appointment and a text message 30 minutes prior to appointment time. If I ever need to reinspect my home, I will not hesitate to call Premier Inspections.

Mike Pence is the best. He answered every question. He looked at every detail of the home we were having inspected. His knowledge and the application of that knowledge was remarkable. He has great customer service skills. It was a pleasure to engage him with our business.

Great experience from start to finish with our inspector, Mark. After an initial exchange of a few messages, we scheduled an appointment on-line that was only 5 days after the initial contact. I met Mark at the property and he had already been there for over 30 minutes assessing the roof and exterior condition of the home. Mark was professional in his demeanor and clearly is very experienced. Once inside, he was very thorough and pointed out only one potentially significant item and a few other minor ones. He also made it a point to call our attention to a number of high-quality steps our sellers, who had built the home, had taken during construction. He issued his report about 5 hours after the inspection concluded. I was very pleased with Mark's work and would definitely use Premier again.

At the time of the inspection the house was vacant, and had been for nearly 12 months so there was not much the inspector had to look around aside from the structure. Immediately after moving in we have had issues with water in the basement and termites. The home inspection report showed no indication of water entering the basement however within 2 days of arrival I discovered a small puddle in a corner of the basement. Upon further inspection it appears this had happened before. The inspector did note that the sump pump discharge should be extended, which I have done. I've also extended all of the downspouts further from the house. This appears to have corrected the issue, but I would have expected the inspector to notice water had entered previously. More importantly I am now looking for a termite treatment service as I discovered a mud tunnel in the the back sunroom. I called the inspector's office (6/16/14) and the owner, Mark, came out to investigate. Mark noted the tunnel and looked in the basement for any more activity...he found none. He stated that the tunnel was inactive and must have occurred after the inspection was performed. I spoke with my real estate agent, who arranged for another opinion from an external party. This inspector found 2 more mud tunnels on the back of the sun room that Mark had missed just 3 days before. I've attempted to discuss this with Mark but he maintains that there was no indication of termites during the first inspection and wasn't interested in hearing about the 2 additional tunnels discovered following his visit. He states his inspection is valid only upon which the date the inspection is performed. During this call he was rude and confrontational and I felt I had maintained a high level of professionalism with him as a customer. 6/30/14 Update Mark Pence, owner, asked to visit again to discuss the situation and to take another look at the damage. During this visit he offered a full refund of the inspections and was very professional. I appreciate that the gesture and I have updated my ratings as such.

this is the second time I have used Premier Home inspection for a buyers inspection. the first house I had inspected we canceled the contract because of the inspection. Mark's inspection showed us the house was a death trap, not only saving us a bunch of money but the health of my family. The second home went quite alot better, Mark worked with me on scheduling. He even reworked his schedule several times for me. the inspection went very well and we became aware of things to not only get fixed before closing but also things to keep an eye on in the future. Mark was honest about all of his findings and provided me with a level of customer service that exceeded all of my expectations. I recommend them to everyone even thinking about a home. I just wish I could give them an A+++.

I had done an inspection with Premier a few months ago but the house ended up falling through. When it was time to get another inspection done, it was no question who I was going to call. John did my previous inspection and I was really impressed with his services. I had forgotten John did the previous inspection and had a card with Mark's name on it, so I requested him. Either way, you cannot go wrong with one or the other. Both of them were great to work with and were very thorough. Since we had used them before they gave us a discount. Mark was there early and had already inspected the roof and outside. Mark then went on to inspect the rest of the house. As mentioned, he was very thorough and was sure not to miss anything. He then took us around the house and pointed out his findings, pointed out things about the house that we were not familiar with and finally fielded any questions we had. After the inspection we had the full report within an hour or so! I will use Premier Inspection Services for any future inspections and will definitely recommend them to anyone who will listen. The cost was very reasonable especially since I had him do the home inspection including my detached garage, which he found was leaning drastically, a termite inspection, and the radon test which he has certified Radon come out and do. The lady from certified Radon was absolutely wonderful as well. Overall I wish I had used Mark from the start and not bothered with the other inspector. He offered to put my appliances on a website where it updates he if there's any recalls which I thought was a cool extra that will give me value for years to come. This company get an A++ from me!

John was at the house early, so we didn't have to wait around and he promptly got to work. He did a very thorough inspection and pointed out things to us as he went. He was very open to answer any questions, offered suggestions to prevent and/or fix issues and made us feel very comfortable with the whole process as first-time home-buyers. He had our full report with in-depth descriptions and pictures of anything he came across to us that night. I would absolutely use this company/inspector again in any future inspections.

Mark arrived on time and did a very thorough job for our home inspection. After he was done, he spent some time going over what he found. The next day he sent a very detailed report including pictures covering every item. He did an excellent job.
