New vinyl siding was installed and windows were replaced. Carlos and his crew were the best! Their knowledge and workmanship was excellent along with their communication. Additionally, Trent from their sales office was very knowledgeable and helpful in the decision making process. Overall, I'm extremely happy we chose this company and their products. After doing my own research I had Trent come out and give me a bid to remove my 25 year old rotting siding that had been neglected for too long. Trent is professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. Carlos and his crew are amazing! They are professional and meticulous on every detail in completing the job. I can't say enough about the expertise and workmanship they produced. They tackled my house as though they were working on their own. They went over and beyond my expectations in making my house beautiful again!

We interviewed 5 companies over 4 months, researched concrete, vinyl and polymer siding. Great Plains offered the best product at 5mil thick, the best efficient and user friendly financing, and absolutely the best trade crews and supervisors who spent serious time on the details. Carlos's crew worked non stop til they finish the job. At the end of each day his men cleaned up all the mess. this crew would show up 9 AM and work until dusk. I watched these Pros work their magic it was amazing to see the house come together, I LOVE IT!!!!

Having polymer insulated vinyl siding installed on your home is a huge investment, there is no hiding that fact. I received bids from multiple well-known siding companies in the KC area, but Great Plains Exteriors quote was by far the most competitive. More important than the price, however, was that company owner Chase made me feel the at ease with taking on such a large project. The ProVia CedarMax siding product, the 3D moisture barrier house wrap, and the process of removing wood rot before even installing new siding was explained in great detail. Chase answered all questions promptly and confidently. There was absolutely no pressure placed on me to make a decision. It took me a few weeks to think it all over, but eventually I made a decision that would transform my home for the better. I decided to go with Great Plains Exteriors to reside my house. They were able to work with my schedule, and even were able start work earlier than expected. On the first day of the project I met with Chase and Carlos, the crew lead, who would be overseeing the daily work. Immediately I felt in good hands, as Carlos and Chase exuded a high level of professionalism while running through the preliminary project details with me. The crew got started the very next day, stripping off the old, rotten board-and-batten siding. They cut out all the rotten wood present and replaced it with new plywood. It was truly impressive to watch these guys go at it! As the old siding was stripped away its true condition was exposed, it hit me how badly needed the new siding was. Within a couple of days, the houses appearance was already transformed as the new siding (and new color!) was taking shape. Carlos communicated with me every day to make sure I was happy with everything. Any questions I had were answered, any concerns I had were quickly addressed. You really cannot ask for a better group of guys to work with. At the end of every work day, the crew cleaned up everything, bagged up all the trash, organized their tools and were neat and tidy. I was impressed - this is hard work and they performed it with accuracy and class. After about seven days, the house was finished. The entire thing was had been resided in a beautiful slate gray with white trim. It was nearly unrecognizable from the ugly brown rotten wooden husk it once was. I look forward to the heating and cooling savings due to the new insulation, as well as never having to paint again. The siding lifetime warranty paired with professional-grade installation have made me realize this was a truly meaningful investment in the houses future. You may be on the fence about residing your house; it is a tremendous investment so that is understandable. However, know that if you decide to take the plunge, there is one company you can certainly trust to do the job right: Great Plains Exteriors.

Great plains was the 3rd company I asked to give me a quote. Chris came to my house and during our conversation he spent time to listen to what my wife and I really wanted. The two other companies gave us a quote for what they wanted to supply "Hardy Board". That the product we were settling for. When I got the quote for the "Hardy Board" siding from Great Plains it was 15% less than the other quotes for the same material. They also included a price for Polymer. Yes, it was very economically convenient in comparison. I brought up if the polymer look like a log we would be interested. Chris took the time to search and find a polymer product that he could supply that meet our needs. "Looked like logs". He had not quoted or installed the product before. It's was just what we were looking for. Chris will take the time and go out of his way to get it right. (The way you want it). I think the best thing about Chris was he would tell me he did know the answer about something vs. making something up that sounded good. That's hard to find these days. We did not have one issue with the installation. Everyone on his crew cared about what they were doing. Best part was that they did not get upset when I would get in the way. The best part was the job was finished in about 1 week and everything was covered in the quote. I was expecting the "we ran into something that was not covered." Nope, did not happen. I also have a promise that when we get the storm doors installed they will come back and wrap the trim them so they match the windows. How can you beat that? So my bottom line is that I'm very happy having Chris and his team install Log Polymer Siding on my home. I believe you will too.

Great Plains Exteriors was terrific in every way. The owner, Chase, has a great team working for him, and Adam, the project manager, was excellent to work with as well. To start with, Chase and everyone at Great Plains was extremely responsive. I never had to wait long at all to be called back, and I usually got Chase on the phone immediately. The house looks exactly like we wanted it to look. We had great options, and I've had many of our Prairie Village neighbors come by my house to tell me how good the siding looks. We had a full polymer siding install done, and the work is rock solid. In fact, Chase and his crew helped us solve a bigger problem that we'd been unable to figure out that wasn't even related to the roof. Every issue that we had was addressed immediately, and the job was completed to perfection. Additionally, everyone at Great Plains is extremely courteous and basically, they were a pleasure to work with. I recommend them highly.

A very hard-working crew of 4 men were here every day for 12 hours until the work was completed. A dumpster was in my side driveway until the work was completed. Chase and Adam were both easy to communicate with, and answered all my questions clearly.

They came the day they were suppose to, finished the day they said they would, and cleanup everything. I had a problem later that turned out to be my own fault and Chase came out and help me fix the problem, when to be honest it didn't need to. My neighbors used them and I know they were extremely pleased as well. Great product, great energy savings and way better value then their competitors.

This is an outstanding company. They listen to every details you desire as a part of the project. Always on time. From the beginning to the end of the project, they communicated with you on everything. They left the project each day leaving the areas clean. Project: Install CedarMax insulated siding on the home along with the RainDrop 3D building wrap used as a water-resistive barrier. From the very beginning of speaking with Chase Hite, owner of Great Plains Exteriors. This company and its workers are superior, professional, friendly, and always explained everything along the way. They completed the project on-time and cleaned up the work-site at the end of each day. I was very impressed with the workers and the quality of there work is outstanding. Our house looks awesome!!! I'm a very happy customer and I will be using Chase and his workers again in the future when its time to install replacement windows. This company knows how to install siding and make a customer happy. Of course there will always be little hiccups along the way (i.e. woodrot etc.), but they were quick to fix anything that came up. Our house looks great and have had no problems with it. Cedarmax is a great siding product. It has withstood hail and high winds already with no problems. I would recommend them 100%.

Great Plains Exteriors replaced 20 windows for us and replaced our homes siding. During the process of replacing our windows and siding they found a large sum of wood rot on our house caused from a previous siding and window company taking short cuts. Great Plains Exteriors fixed all the wood rot and made our house look beautiful again. This company knows their business and it shows! From start to finish they were friendly, knowledgeable and true professionals. I would highly recommend Great Plains Exteriors and will be using them again in the future!
