Description of Work: CAP has not provided service per-say. They are a home warranty company. We contacted them for our first home appliance replacement. They provided a contractor name; we called the contractor and set up the appointment. Our appliance had to be replaced; we chose to buy new. We had to pay everything up front, CAP is set to reimburse us $250 of the cost. The experience wasn't stressful. It's more of them having contractors and you have to do the rest.

Description of Work: I called about a plumbing issue--a leak. They did not tell me before I paid for the service that I could have purchased additional plumbing coverage. The rep then told me that plumbing was not covered if it water flowed from outside in. I told her it was the opposite and she said it still was not covered. It seemed to be a play on words. She was just playing games and when I told her to cancel it--she said o.k.--it was cancelled.

Description of Work: So far, so good. We received a custom quote for our new home warranty and couldn't be happier with all the great reviews and no service charge. Will update if we have to get anything repaired but their customer service has been excellent.

Description of Work: I haven't used the service yet as nothing has broken, but I called them and the woman was very professional and went over my policy and encouraged me to call if I had a problem or a question.

Description of Work: I am looking for extended warranty on appliances. I had email exchange with the company. they were very responsive in sending me info on their porograms. That said their replacment allowances for appliances simply are not realistic. For example, $400 for a refrigerator, $500 for hvac. I imagine all is well if they can fix the appliance, but if they determine it cant be repaired then the owner is subject to low replacement costs. I simply remind you to look at pricing and also the low replacement realities that you will have to absorb.
