I was told I needed a new circuit board. After a couple of weeks it supposedly came in and it was installed. The man told me it was fixed. I put in a load and it didn`t work. About this time I found out I had a warranty on the machine. In just a few minutes, the warranty repairman found an obstruction in the drain pump. It works now. The All Areas repairman is either inept or unscrupulous.

I called for a service and he arrived the next day on 10/10/13. (This 'group' is just a wife answering the phone and husband doing service.) I had used this company for about 8 years and they used to be very good. Not the case now. He did come back out on 10/21/13 with the parts to repair the dishwasher which worked....for a while. Initially after the repair, I got to thinking that the total sounded really high. I called 2 places on the internet for the same replacement parts and BOY were the prices different. When I called about the overcharging, I was then sent a letter from the wife that she had 'mistaken' the invoice for 2 companies and I received a refund check for $23.28. However, she also sent me a copy of the invoice that had come from their wholesale supply house, showing the list price (retail) of $51.39 and $54.39 for the valve and gasket. They had then ADDED on an additional $30 per item! to the retail price! plus some more! So a fee of $105.78 came out being $202.70!!!! Then after I called them out on it, I was sent a refund check of $23.28. Which meant I was finally paying $179.42 for something that should have been $105.78 plus tax. This company is either losing it and can't figure prices anymore or they are just basically WAY overcharging people....nearly double, of what people should be charged. I also looked back on fees I was charged on a dryer repair in March of 2013 and did some checking around on the internet for prices of the parts, and again, I paid nearly double what the fee should have been. Now....guess what needs servicing again....same problem.....the dryer. I believe this couple is deceiving people on the back end of parts and double charging for the trip and anything else they can think of.

Arrived on time. Refrigerator was out and accessible so it didn't need to be moved. Ten minutes after arrival, I received a phone call telling me that the compressor on the refrigerator was shot and not worth the cost of repair. I concurred and asked how much we owed. I was told that the bill was 54.95. When I questioned the amount given the time on premises, the serviceman responded " You're lucky I don't charge you $100.00..... ". My mother in law, clearly a senior citizen payed the bill and even though she questioned the amount, was never offered the 10% senior citizen discount. Now, I expect to pay a service call, but this was out of line. I would not recommend the company to anyone in the future.

I was very happy with the service, it has only been a few weeks and so far everything is working.

It went great - no problems.

We have an old (45 yrs) stove and needed burners and oven element. Steve came out on time, checked it out, told us he would have to call around to find the parts. Less than an hour after he left we got a call from their office, they had found the parts and could install the next day. By 4:00pm the next my stove was back in working order. The job couldn't have been done better

The repair man was kind, quick, professional and clean about his work. He also told me at the end of the first visit what the cost of the second visit would be, so there were no surprises. There was no discount for being a member of Angie's List.

I called All Areas North Service at about 1:30pm to schedule an appointment. To my surprise the lady stated someone would be there to check it out at 4:00pm. The service call would be 59.95 and then repairs would be parts and labor. The repair person came out listened to me explain my problem, stated the solution, stated the price, stated he had the part. He replaced the part and tested it. All was repaired. I was so happy and would not need to take a day off from work. He was done within 15 minutes.Very pleased with this company. I will always call them first.

My washer was leaking and I had NO idea what to do. After looking on Angie's List I called this company. They were wanting to send someone out that same day; unfortunately I couldn't get off work. So we made the appointment for the next day. The serviceman phoned to confirm his arrival and was prompt. He was very patient while I explained in layman's terms the problem. He was extremely courteous and answered all of my questions, even those that after thinking about what I had asked, didn't sound too intelligent. While we were waiting for my washer to fill with water (so he could test it), we made small talk and he explained the differences in washer types to me. That was very interesting and helpful. He didn't have to visit with me, but he did - a great example of constituent relationship management. I will definitely use them again! Oh, and the status of my washer? I overfilled it with clothes. :)

I was very pleased. Excellent repairman who got right to work. Cleaned up afterwards, and even tightened by washer hose connection for me.

Bought a 2nd fan and it still shut off. On the 5th visit they replaced some wires. He would have to keep coming back. He was a very nice man but couldnt figure out the problem.

I called Sharon at All Areas North Service Co and was told the repairman could come out the same day. Steve was very prompt, diagnosed the problem and gave an estimate. He did not have the correct ice make model with him, but said he could return the next day. The following day he actually called to say he had finished his previous repair job a little early and wondered if he could come and do our job early. Again, Steve was very prompt and professional and repaired the ice maker in a very short amount of time.

The tech showed up on time and repaired the dryer at a reasonable rate. He also repaired a hose-screen problem on the wash machine at no charge.

I called and was scheduled an appointment within a few days. The time available was convenient with my schedule. The service representative was prompt and called before arriving. He was able to find the problem and fix it relatively fast.

I was experiencing some sort of oily leak under washing machine. Sharon took down information and set up an appointment. About an hour later she called back and told me that she had described the problem to the service manager. He immediately told her that I had a transmission leak and the washer repair would not be worth fixing versus a new washer. Sharon told me that rather than waste my money on a service call that she thought she would just call and let me know. I really appreciated this as in this case I had called a couple of other service companies (not on Angie's List) and described the problem. Neither would give me any information about what this problem could be but were willing to come out and charge me anywhere from $65.00 to $85.00 for a service call.

Arrived early after calling first. Knowledge great. Located problem immediately. However, I was told on the phone that the service call included the installation labor for parts. When the problem was located, I was told the installation of part and parts cost was $35.

Repairman called about two hours early and could come then if it was convenient. He was quick, did what he needed to do and was out before the original appointment. Reasonably priced and efficient.

They were very prompt, courteous and efficient. He gave me the appropriate instructions on how to correct my freezer problems on my own and was able to remove my washing machine agitator and repair it in less than one hour.

VERY PROMPT SERVICE. DIDN'T CHARGE AN ARM & A LEG!
