disappointed because they could spray certian trees

They do good work but are in a lather to charge you for things you do not want or do not need and I am sick of it!

Service tech said we were not home and we were. Service tech said he had sprayed and billed us for it but hadn't sprayed. Manager said he would come out and look at lawn but never called back. We were suppose to have aeration and reseeding in our plan but was never included. They have a lot of personnel and Management issues. We won't use them again.

They come out and they do it. They just leave a bill on the door and then I go ahead and pay it. I send my payment in. They don't bother you. They just let you know they're there and what they're doing. My yard looks good, it looks better than what it did.The cost depends upon what they do.

They do good work. They're kinda pricey, but they get the job done.

They were a good company. The lawn was good. Our lawn looks good. I've never seen any dandelions and it looks healthy.

I couldn?t possibly be more disappointed in the service I?ve received from Scotts Lawn Service. I had annual service from Scotts for two years. I expected this to result in a lush, full, green lawn. That did not happen. (1) They are unable to execute my simple request: call me 48 hours before they intend to service my lawn so that I can have it prepared for you (leaves raked and lawn mowed). I have gone round and round with both the awful woman who answers the phone at the office and Service Manager Brandon regarding this request. The technicians continued to just show up with no warning. (2) My lawn looks like crap. After two years of Scotts service, I expect it to be green. It is not. Every time the service technicians leave the Scotts sign at the end of my driveway I want to remove it because I have no desire to advertise for them. However, I leave it there so that everyone who drives by can see what a crappy job Scotts does. You?re welcome. (3) The awful woman who answers the phone could not possibly be more rude. Her condescending tone is not appropriate for a customer service position. She is awful. I never want to speak to her, however she will never connect me with a supervisor/manager. She always states that nobody is available. Really? You?re Scotts Lawn Service. There cannot possibly only be one person to talk to ? ESPECIALLY someone as awful as her. .(4) Most of all, like I said above, my lawn looks like crap. Don't use Scotts. It is a waste of money.

My lawn and landscape are the envy of the neighborhood

They destroyed my front yard. To be specific they tore out large chucks of sod with their aeration machine and just left them laying around the yard. The bare spots they created they dumped seed onto. In the back yard there is large areas where you cannot even tell that they did the service. It rained a good inch or more the night before the service and that morning I mowed the yard to prepare it for their visit, so there was no excuse for such destruction of my grass. I have had problems with their service before and calling and talking to customer service almost never helps. I plan on never doing business with this company again. Overall poor quality of work and poor customer care.

Sprayed Yard for weeds and made sure to check if we need other services. Used them since last year and yard looks the best I ever seen. They however did not contact me to renew my contract and it slipped. I had to call them to get it started again.

I've used Scott's Lawn Service for several years now. I pay annually.

Often late. They continued to call and ask me for permission to come do the treatments for over a year after I had cancelled the service. Continually tried to up sell me on additional treatments that they said were "very important". I asked why, if they were so important, they did not include them in the base package of 6 applications. They could not answer that.

Requested a quote two years ago, they were way too high compared to other services and just doing it myself for about 25% of the cost. They continue to call me, sometimes at late hours despite me asking them not to call. What I really don't appreciate though is how condescending their sales agents are over the phone when I politely tell them I am already taken care of the yard myself. Will not ever trust my lawn with people that cannot even be polite over the telephone or honor a request to quit calling me with their sale pitches.

Called and spoke to someone name "Yusef". Asked if we could schedule a mowing for our property, but was told that they only treat lawns and do not provide mowing services. This needs to be updated in the company profile as it is misleading.

Frightening and threat of physical altercation.

I was using another company for long time, and my lawn was in good shape, till i saw their nice ad on TV, claiming they are the best company in the US for lawn care !!! so i called , the sales man assured me that the lawn will look much better than it was. Instead They did a horrible job on my lawn. Around mid July, the lawn looked in worse shape ever, yellow spots and weeds everywhere. . I called them many times and i requested to meet with a manager with no results ! the manager never showed up till October after many calls. He agreed that the lawn was in horrible shape, and he assured me that he will do his best to make it work! he promised me that he will put a revival and he will seed over the lawn. I waited and waited and nothing happenned last year. I started calling the customer service since February this year 2015, to make sure to put a plan for the new season, and i requested to meet with a lawn manager, with no results ! At the same time i started receiving calls from them to collect a bill of 90$ from the last year for their horrible service they provided, i was very clear and told them i need first to speak to a manager and make a plan. Instead to resolve the problem and make things right, i was stunned to know that they have sent the non-paid bill to a collection agency, I called again and i was lucky enough to speak to a manager after i insisted, and he started blaming me in a very disrespectful manor for me not paying that bill !!! After long discussion, he reviewed the notes on the account and found that there were a big problems with my lawn last season, then apparently he tried to convince me that they provided the revival treatment and the seeding last year, which is not true, because i didn't see any notes on the door, neither i saw the seedings then nor a new growth in my lawn. At the end, i requested to speak to the same manager i talked to last year, and till now ( Monday, April 13th) after more than a week, no one did get back to me yet. Even i was more shocked to know that they have done it with another customer as well, exactly with the same nonprofessional way, who also ended up dealing with collecting agency ( look for Review Dated: January 12, 2015, here on Angie's list ). I Have paid them almost 700$ last year for their horrible work, and they are still asking me to pay that 90$, they have never told me that they Have sent it to collection, instead to resolve the problem with me directly and compensate for my loss. I wished i could find a way to upload the few pics of the horrible lawn i took with that manager in october last season. So, I was really disappointed with their horrible service and the way how they treat their customers and by he nonprofessional way of treating such problem. I found that there is no inter-communication between the employees, and that they have a very poor follow up system, specially their managers. I would not use them again neither i recommend them to anyone. in the future.

I have been very happy with their work. I have used them for the past five years. The products they use have improved my grass and shrubs.

Didn't follow through with scheduled appointments. Kept pushing our appointment times later and later into the late summer early fall. I was so fed up with the change in services dates and they did not seem to really care I canceled the aeration and overseeding service. I was thinking about spring today and realized I never provided feedback in their service and plan on canceling all my services with them next week unless they do something positive to change my mind. From my experiences this past year I feel like they don't really care about their customers.

They seemed to do a reasonable job but I had to have them comeback out and do a reapplication a time or two since I wasn’t as pleased with the results as I would like to see. They seemed to deal with the problem, as they got back to me and did the reapplication for free so they were responsive. But I would be cancelling them and choose some other provider.

It was OK service. They fulfilled the contract. Had to call them for monthly weed service, when I saw too many weeds. Did not see that with past provider. When I decided to not renew, the problem started. Five calls and two explanations later, I'm writing this review. I even called their national office about the pestering phone calls. This review is mainly for their lack of professionalism. I don't feel the need to provide supporting evidence to why I don't want to use their service.

1- When they were selling me the service, they claimed that unlike other companies, their application is liquid and not granular which supposed to be more effective. That was only true for the first application, the rest is no different. 2- When they started, they normally left a flag in the yard with a piece of paper that describes what was applied. The last two applications, they did not leave any paper or flag to indicate what they applied. 3- I called the company and brought it to their attention that no flag or paper work was left. They said they will send somebody to make those two applications within one week period to our lawn. I inquired if it is ok only one week where normally it is 4 - 6 weeks, they said it is ok. Of course they never came. 4- The bill for the last two (supposedly applications) was sent to collection agency, I called again just to find out they never came back again as they claimed. I paid them and closed the account just to avoid the headache. You would think that having a company to care for your lawn and pay them a lot of money will give you a piece of mind, true green proved the opposite.

I had a pretty good experience. I have used them for years and they take good care of it. I use them every year.

They did work in my yard last August and I wasn't expecting that. I wasn't even in town. I told them to let me know if they're coming. I was on vacation and I was really upset.

He is a single person that does it by himself. I don't know how many clients he has, but he has done it for us for a couple of years. I have gotten to know him personally, and I know his son who helps him in the summer when he is home from college. I have asked him to do some other odds and ends, such as plant trees and trimming, and he does those. We are very satisfied with him. The few other people that we have asked for price, have been at least that much or more, so he is among the cheapest. He comes when it needs it, I leave it up to him. He cuts on every Friday, depending on how much it rains, so punctuality is really not an issue. He treats us very well, sometimes he comes in and has a cup of coffee, and then he will be on his way.
