Statewide Exteriors

The overall experience was great and educational. My children even enjoyed the experience.

We bought our house six months ago. One of the things the previous owner had alerted us to was that the house had a brand new roof, and that it came with a one year warranty. When we bought the house we took the receipt that showed her date of purchase, installation, and warranty information, along with contact info for the folks at Statewide Exteriors with whom she had worked. Shortly after moving into our house, we noticed water leaking into our house in a couple of places, causing water damage. We contacted Statewide to try to get them to repair the roof under their warranty. The first time we asked them to come out they did so promptly and did the job quickly. Only problem was the next time it rained everything started leaking again, so they had obviously failed to repair the issue. We called them another time to see if they could try again, since the roof was warrantied. Every time we called they told us they needed to call us back. We would literally have to call six to eight times over the course of a week before someone would call us back, and when they did they said they had to "get permission" from the owner before they could do anything, and said they'd call us back. Of course, they never did. We had to wait almost a month while they kept saying they would get back to us, and in the meantime every time it rained our water damage got a little worse. Finally, we demanded someone address this issue immediately. We had to insist through several people to be taken care of, and they finally set an appointment to come out on a Saturday morning to fix the roof. They never showed up. We finally got tired of waiting on this company to stand behind their work and decided we can't wait on them anymore because of the damage it is causing to our house. We had another roofing company come out to give us an estimate on the repairs, and they told us that the work Statewide Exteriors had done was done poorly and hastily. We are so unimpressed with Statewide Exteriors and do not recommend them to anyone.
