Description of Work: Whole house inspection including termite inspection. Inspector arrived early and walked entire roof. Inspector was overall thorough with inspection. One major reason this inspector was selected was because the video about the firm on their website says they walk every roof and check every electrical outlet (even though the National Association of Home Inspectors doesn't require these things). They did walk the roof, but they did not check every outlet in the house, as there was no mention during the verbal synopsis about the loose outlet in the kitchen. Also there was no mention about the lack of flashing under the dryer vent on the exterior of home which can cause wood rot over time. | |Overall good inspection and good value for the money, they also edited the report to include information that was discussed in person but was not included in the report the following day.

+ -1 moreLarry provides a warranty if the buyers inspector finds anything that he missed. Something was found (after the buyers inspector spent hours inside our 1200 sq ft home) and Larry stood by his warranty and paid a portion of the cost of the repair. Good man to do business with.

+ 0 moreLarry met our realtor at the agreed upon time in the morning. By the end of the day, I had a report that clearly outlined all of the issues he observed. The report contained photos of the problems observed. The report contained advice with regard to the overall maintenance of the property as well. The seller of the property understood all of the issues from the report and offered to make all significant repairs without our request. Since we live out of state, the lack of hassle was great. We highly recommend Larry.

In the end, he explained thoroughly what he found and what should be done to fix the problem. A printed and detailed report (with pictures) was given to us after the inspection and it can also be found through his website.

+ -1 moreWe are 1st time home buyers and Star was recommended by a friend. They did an excellent job, were very thorough, answered all my questions and explained what they found. They also provided general info on home upkeep. A printed and detailed report was given right after the inspection and an electronic copy was provided as well. Overall, this company did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a home inspection.
