Sonrise Masonry

I can't say how pleased I am with Sonrise Masonry and in particular Jason for the work that was done on my fireplace it turned out better than I could have imagined and they were very good about keeping everything as clean as possible. I would definitely recommend them to anyone as they were very easy to work with and done a beautiful job and worked it in with my schedule.

Jake from Sonrise was very professional and courteous. He did a great job with removal of the windows and blocking in the spaces. He sealed the outside and removed the window wells, plus backfilled the window well with soul. He was very clean and meticulous with his work. Definitely will rehire Sonrise Masonry for my next projects.

Judah and Jake performed all the work. We were very pleased with the quality of work and their attention to detail. They both were very knowledgeable and experienced. It was important to them that we were happy with the work and they were flexible with any minor changes that we had. J.D., the owner, bid the job and stopped by the job site periodically to review the progress. Pricing on the job appeared reasonable. We enjoyed working with them and the quality of their work. We would hire them again for any masonry work.

Super, because we were trying to get our house on the market, they squeezed us in. Craftsman arrived on time, did the work, was very professional and cleaned up after work was done. Work being done was in the front of the house and he was working in a garden with hostas, none of the hostas were damaged and the garden looked as if no work has taken place in it. Would highly recommend them.

Very well. Prompt response for an estimate & were able to come out to begin project later that week. JD, Judah, & Alfonso were all great to work with. Work was well done & am happy with the outcome of the project. Was willing to pay a little more to have them come out as quick as they did. They completed the project within a week of starting it. They all took great care in their work & did not have any problems. Would recommend them & hire them again.

I never had the work done. I called and explained what I needed, he said he would come out and look at it and leave me a quote. Approximately 2 weeks later he calls and says that he came by and looked at it over a week ago and had to go back to the office to figure the quote and he just got busy and said he would drop it by. That night as I was coming home a guy in an old white pick up followed me into my neighborhood and actually to my home. Turns out he had never been out to look at it and he gave me an outrageous price compared to the other 2 quotes I got. I figured he just did not want to even try for my business.

It went great. JD did a wonderful job from ordering my new brick, making suggestions, and working on the project.

Was extremely pleased with the entire Sonrise team. I found JD through Angie'slist. Reached him immediately. Explained what I needed. He asked me if I could text him photos. The job was not very complicated. He was able to quote a price on rebuilding what I needed...rough estimate. Sounded good to me, so we scheduled an appointment to formalize the bid and allow him to see it in person. My fireplace was truly dated. Was a basement fireplace so I really wasn't too worried about it previously. He asked me if I had considered updating the stone. Was super polite and courteous...but, it was a nice way of telling me the truth....for a few more dollars, I could reasonably update the fireplace to look like it as something we would actually put in our home if we were building today. Needless to say, once the stone came in, they showed up on time, got the job done and could not have been more friendly and again courteous to my wife and son..that seemed to like talk to the crew (actually JDs son in laws) about Pokemon go and sports. Was a fair price for quality craftsmanship. Cleaned everything up as well. Did not leave until they knew I was happy. What more could you want at the end of the day?

JD was excellent to work with. He offered creative solutions in order to provide the best look for our house. He was always available to answer questions and very professional. His team that performed the job was also professional and courteous. The job was completed in the estimated time frame and the outcome was excellent. I would certainly recommend Sonrise Masonry.

Called for estimate on a repair on front of our home. Asked me to text pictures and would get back to me with an estimate within half hour. Never called or texted back. Guess they didn't want or need the job.

The cracks on the front of my house were ground out and filled with a color that matches perfectly with the exterior. I am extremely happy with the work that was done by Sonrise Masonry and will recommend this company to my friends and family.

They were great overall. They had some rain delays, and the stone company we ordered from were late. But they worked extra on evenings or weekends to make up time. JD, Jake and Judah were fantastic! They helped us figure out the best options for our stone work; kept their work area at a minimum at the end of the day so we could access our house easily; put back up fixtures they took down; hauled away all the old siding/facing. Oh! and they covered up some holes in our front porch/stairs created by the original siding guys. There were usually at least 2 guys on the job. They were always friendly and respectful. They cleaned up better than any workmen we've had. Their work is stellar. We have had nothing but great comments about their work and lots of folks stopping and inquiring after their service. We will definitely hire them again. We just need to decide what other projects we have.

Sonrise Masonry is the type of company you always hope for when you hire someone to work on your home. They did great work for a fair price and left the area cleaner than they found it. They were pleasant, patiently answered all my questions, and provided me references and proof of insurance promptly. I appreciated that they made suggestions, but never pushed. They also handled the inevitable problems efficiently. And, they took care not to hurt my plants! We couldn't be happier.

We couldn't be more pleased with the work done by JD and his team. It wasn't an easy task and we appreciated his hard work and dedication. Where most contractors would cut corners, his attention to detail doesn't compare. He was so patient with our many questions, changes to the design and he offered such great suggestions and ideas. He came out to our house many times to discuss design ideas and cost, as he knew how important it was we stick to our budget, while still having a beautiful design and outdoor space that was also functional.

Sonrise Masonry was fabulous to work with! They understood the projects we hoped to have done. They promptly started on the projects.Each project was messy with destruction before the new construction, but these men worked neatly. During the time they were here, we still were able to go about our day without interruption. They cleaned the work spaces every evening. The work done is wonderful! It was done professionally and with an eye for detail. The new stones are set in mortar with craftsmanship. Many friends and neighbors have complimented the work. We highly recommend Sonrise Masonry!

I left a voicemail for J.D. on a Friday morning and he immediately returned my call to setup an estimate for the next day, which was a Saturday. He was pleasant and professional and returned the estimate within a couple days. We were scheduled within about a week due to a cancellation and our project ended up taking a week to finish. He wrapped up on a Saturday to complete it. J.D. and his employee, Jake, were incredibly personable and communicated well with us throughout the week. We discussed progress and questions daily and J.D. took extra time to try to ensure that our new mortar matched the old as closely as possible. The job site was cleaned up well when they were done and he seemed to have an incredible attention to detail as he stopped by one last time to check on our site and noticed that the bricks were showing some white spots again (we didn't notice without him mentioning it) so he is going to stop by again to clean and reseal it. They even chatted with our 11-year-old nephew when he wanted to hang out with them. This was the third mason we've hired and we will hire J.D. any time we need brick work done going forward.

He did all the work he said he would and also made the new masonry repairs match the stucco texture of the rest of my foundation. It all went very well.

Angle iron installation. Cut, painted and installed 3 angle irons and tuck pointed cracks on garage pillars._x000D_|_x000D_|Explained work to be done and why the work was needed. Arrived on time, very knowledgeable and efficient, cleaned up after job was completed. Overall, very Professional and looks great.

Went outstanding. Weather's been difficult, but they worked through it and did a beautiful job - we're delighted.

I called the company on the morning of 11/06/13 and explained what I needed done. I asked them to provide a quote. I had previously sent pictures of the brick step and my contact information including our address (using their email address listed on their website). They indicated they would look at the emailed pictures and get back to me. I called back in the late afternoon of 11/7/13 to verify they had received our email, I was not able to confirm with them that they had looked at the email. I asked that they follow up with me one way or another to let me know if they can do the job. I of course understand that this small of a job may not be of interest to them, but a phone call would have been nice. As of this morning, 11/13/13 I have heard nothing from this company, I would not use them for anything based on this lack of customer service. The company did email me following this review. They indicated that the overlooked the phone call because of an family member illness, therefore I have improved my rating, as I did not expect an apology and it is a classy thing to do when you make a mistake.
