Up in one day! Delayed one day, but didn’t matter much to us.

All went well. I have no regrets. They were very professional, and cleaned up after themselves.

Jim (the estimator) came over twice to make the changes I wanted. Other changes I wanted to the plans were done through e-mail and telephone. Throughout all this, the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The installers arrived when promised, and the fence was put up in 3 days, as was stated.T he fence looks good. This project was all done during the hellish sweltering heat of mid-July Missouri.

We had called around to several fence companies in KC and Roy and Son were the first to call us back and we are so glad we stuck with them! We worked with Jim Wyzard to get our estimate. He was prompt, professional and provided great customer service. He stopped but the house to give the estimate within 48 hours of contacting us and was happy to take our phone calls with questions. We scheduled the work about 4 weeks out and the crew showed up right on time. They tore down our old fence, hauled it away and did an excellent job replacing it. We were impressed with the care they took putting up each board and really appreciated their hard work! Jim even stopped by a few days after the job to check in with us and make sure we were happy with the work. I would definitely recommend Roy and Son Fencing!

Sales person provided a very detailed and professional quote. Roy & Son wasn't the cheapest quote we got, but the price difference wasn't that much. And the Roy & Son quote included details of how to address issues the other companies missed. Installers worked in the rain and snow and the fence looks great! We are very satisfied.

After having a person come out and measure the steps, I heard nothing from this company. My repeated calls (10 or 12) to the company were never returned and no estimate was received, either by phone or e-mail or snail mail. Finally I went to the shop and they gave me an outrageous estimate 40% higher than the next highest estimate. Of course, I did not authorize the work. I heard nothing from them, not a call or letter, until October 30th. I had wanted the railing installed by Halloween and another contractor had installed one on my front steps. Roy and Sons called me on October 30th supprised that a railing had been installed, They would not have been able to install anything on that date since my wife works nights and sleeps during the day and I could not have drilling going on at the house while she was sleeping. Their lack of response to my request for an estimate coupled with their confusion over my requirements forces me to give this contractor an F

The contractor did an excellent extending two portions of a cedar security fence around an above ground pool. They also built and installed two new and much better quality gates than the previous fence. The materials used were of high quality and the job was very well done. The contractor was on time worked quickly and the results were of high quality. We were completely satisfied with the work they completed. They also handled everything in a professional manner and did a very good job of cleaning up the job site despite the fact the ground in the yard was very wet. We will use them again in the future and recommend them with confidence.

It was the height of the season I know when I requested a quote. I did have to call them a couple times to remind them to come by but I know they must be very busy during that time. Once they realized I had called a couple times, they promptly had someone come out to quote me on the fence. I would have gone with them had I not found out someone from replacing my deck did that type of work as well. I had experienced their work directly so decided to go with them instead. Rate was competitive and they had no problem doing anything that I needed.

They were prompt, reasonably priced and did an excellent job. I have used them three times over the course of 20 years and have always been pleased.

I called the provider to get an estimate since I live Platte County. On Angie's List, they give free estimates and they service Platte County. I was disappointed when they said we are too far from where they are so they cannot give us an estimate.

It went great, tidy work, good communication on scheduling and back and forth on a late scheduled change. The only hiccup was communication around removal of brush, but that was quickly resolved in a very professional manner. Great company, I would highly recommend their work again.

They did a really good job. I was very pleased with them. They gave me a good bid. The price was good. They did the work really well. Everything was fine. I would definitely use them again. Their price was fair.

Everyone I had contact with was very polite. I called on 02/13/2015 to schedule for an estimate. The appointment was set for 02/18/2015 to fit my schedule so I could be home for the quote (which they prefer). The guy arrived in the window as promised and he was very polite and easy to talk to. He explained the quote and products used and insured my questions were answered before leaving. I think the company is great, the price is competitive, but I chose to use another company to do the fence work. Hard decision between the two companies and if I didn't have information from the other company I would be using Roy & Son hands down.

It process went very well. The crew came in we went over the plan. First the posts were installed. Then a few days later the fencing and gates went up. They did a nice job.

Everything went well. I have no complaints about anything they did. The fence looks great.

They were pretty booked out, so the fence was on the schedule several months ahead of time. However, they arrived on time on the appointed day. I had some trouble with the HOA around here and Roy & Sons fencing worked with me well on that. I had to get some additional approval, so they asked me if they wanted me to have them stop work. I did and they agreed to come back once everything was approved. Once I called them with the additional approvals, they came out the following week and finished installing the fence. The fence has been up for a couple months now and I haven't really had any problems, except one of the gate latches isn't working properly. I have not yet called them to fix it, as it may be something simple that I can fix myself, so I don't know how their follow up is, but given their level of professionalism, I don't foresee any problems. I would use them for work again, if needed.

The crew was courteous, professional and timely. All aspects of the job were handled with care. I was sent photos of the work while in progress because I was unable to be there at the time of the install and there were some decisions that had to made on that day. Chris is a very kind man who is knowledgeable and very patient. They did wonderful work and I would use them again without hesitation if the need arises in the future!

Installation of the fence went great. It looks great and they were very responsive when I asked if we could decrease the spacing of the pickets to 1 inch versus the 2 in spacing they had planned. The only complaint I could even come close to having was that it took so long to get it installed. However, to be fair to them, it was in their peak season and I am very happy with their work and would use them again.

They installed a privacy fence. The price was reasonable and the quality was good.

Excellent fence went in fast and within the time frame quoted. Price was the best out of all the quotes we got and the quality was very high and I am glad I didn't go with a more expensive company.

These guys were fantastic. Roy himself showed up for the estimate, and was patient later with the revisions we needed in the layout. The work was scheduled and the crew showed up on time, completing the job in two days during heat of over 100 degrees. We upgraded to cedar and are glad we did, it looks great. The were skilled at working around existing trees, the slope of the yard and the sub strata of limestone. I would happily recommend them to anyone wanting first class work at a fair price. We will be using them again in the spring adding two gates One negative, we didn't receive the caps for the posts, we made our selection and are still waiting delivery.
