On the day of service, while removing the old front stoop, Midwest Concrete used a jackhammer attached to a bobcat. The force of the jackhammering punched a hole through the foundation and ceiling of my finished bathroom in the basement to where you could see outside through the hole. They didnt know it had happened until I discovered the rubble and hole moments before they were to pour the new concrete, otherwise the toilet etc would have been encased in concrete. They rushed to do a patch job and the stoop has never been water tight since. They came back time after time, after every rain storm and my phonecalls reporting my wet ceiling in the bathroom, and just put more and more caulking around the edges of the stoop nevering solving the problem. I was days away from taking them to small claims court and the owner, Zach Leo told me he would make it right and I decided to give him another chance. They came out, jackhammered out the stoop again, repoured the concrete, and again water leaked into the basement bathroom with every rainstorm, but because they didnt know what they were doing they cracked the foundation directly below the jackhammering site and water flows through the crack and floods the finished basement floor and bathroom. Instead of admitting the problem was beyond their scope of knowledge, and hiring experts in foundation repair and waterproofing they just continued to put "bandaids" on a much bigger problem. I finally told him not to do another thing to my property and hired an attorney. This has been two years of an ongoing nightmare with every rain event, and an unusable basement. I have had to hire a structural engineer and I am facing major foundation repairs, carpet replacement, as well as a complete bathroom repair because the crack is behind the tiled shower.

Job was 95% completed ahead of quoted time. We were told it would take 3 to 4 days and project was mostly completed in about 3 days. Stamped concrete involves sealing as a final protective step and this was completed a couple of weeks later. Overall experience was very good.
Description of Work: Replaced driveway and poured new circle drive. Also designed and poured new stamped concrete sidewalk.
