NEW DECK - I would start with the salesman. He was awesome. We talked for several hours about what we actually wanted, and we got that. The price was ridiculous, but we still said yes. Between that and start date, the communication was horrid. I had zero idea of what was going on for over 2 months. The crew that showed up didn't communicate when they were going to be there, to include on a daily basis. WORST OF ALL***The crew built the deck correctly, but the craftsmanship was non-existent. I did not see one person on the crew use any king of a straight edge to cut a board. We literally had the production manager (who was awesome) bring them out 4-5 extra times until we were satisfied. Even now it has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I would never again pay for this company to do anything, as what the salesman claims doesn't match what the actual laborers are capable of. Thank God I do like the way this looks. It was VERY EXPENSIVE.

It’s been over a month since work began. Still not finished. Over the past 3 years we have hired other people to remodel our kitchen, had a roof put on and house painted and now we hired this company for windows. Biggest mistake we ever made. It took 6 months to get the windows then one was broke and 2 saches would slide back down when opened. The installer told me just keep a ladder by the window to stand on to close the top sach ! I have yet to hear from the salesman and the installers boss yelled when I complained about. I wish we never hired this company.

Overall the guys did the job of putting siding on our house. Mauricio is the foreman who walked around for final review. Once we released payment, they haven't come back to finish sealing areas left unsealed that should have been sealed. We have contacted the company several times and called Mauricio several times with no further follow up. We have a guarantee and they need to finish the job that should have been done right. No excuse for not doing this correctly and suspect the foremen knew it at the time and no excuse that the company isn't following up to ensure this is corrected now!!

The installers were very nice but not dressed professionally. They made a mess when installing windows and didn’t clean it up. The caulk job was very poor. And we have tried to get them to come and fix the caulking and we have had nothing but excuses. And the sales man was pushy saying the price would go up if we didn’t take the offer that day.

Work performed was excellent. Communication about the project was very bad. We had 2 decks on the house, 1 right above the other. Both are same size. When they came out to measure they only measured the top deck. I assumed the bid was for both decks. When the crew came out, they first said they could not do it, it was more than they expected. He also said there was only material for the top deck, and the lower deck was not to be built. This is the first thing that I think should have been make clear when I signed the bid. ( Now I know I should measure the project first and see if my square footage and theirs match up ) That was a complete shock. After discussing what route we wanted to go, we stayed with them to build the deck. Then after the crew started the build, he asked if I knew that the footing and post was going to be centered right in front of the walkway going to where the lower deck will be. Another thing that I think should have been discussed PRIOR to the start of the project. We were given an option to move the footing, but were told they prefer to do it they way they designed it, because it was a better way to build it. So we went with their plan, and now have to move our walkway. Now they did tell us prior to starting, how they build the deck, and showed me hand drawings of what they were going to do. But I did not go down and measure where the footing would go, so was surprised that they would design it to go right in front of the walkway. The deck built was first rate, ( although the crew that built my deck has been let go ) but now I have to get another builder to build the lower deck, and a crew to move my walkway so that it does not lead you into a 4x4 post. As most they give you a bid that you have to approve that night or the price will go up. so they do try to pressure you. So overall top deck we love, now we have to find a couple crews to finish our deck and walkway.

Midtown Home Improvements Inc. recently installed our beautiful new deck. They provided a superior product with excellent workmanship for a fair price. They were very professional in every way and kept us informed and updated every step of the way so we would know what to expect. Their project manager and our installer did excellent work, were very friendly, respectful of our property and went above and beyond normal requirements. We are extremely happy with the work that they did and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a project of this type.

Our deck is beautiful! The salesman was fair, honest and gave us some extras we really wanted. Our project was completed ahead of schedule and they were always on time!! We love the finished project!!

From start to finish every aspect of the job went as expected. From the sales staff to the installer all staff involved were professional, prepared and obviously knew what they were doing. The installer, Will was excellent and now we have beautiful, functional replacement windows in the living room. Great job!

The installation was quick and professional. However, they forgot the screens for the windows and we are still waiting for the screens to be delivered. It's been over a week. I had to call and see when they would be delivered. But overall we are pleased with our experience.

Midtown replaced our very old upper and lower deck for us and we are very happy with the results. Everyone we dealt with along the way was professional and very helpful. Midtown kept us informed on where our project was throughout the process. Even though they started a bit later than originally planned, they let us know that there were some delays. We love the beautiful outcome and have a more usable back yard entertainment area.

The door install itself was excellent. The only issues I had with Midtown were timeliness - the quoted time was 6 weeks but it took 13 - and responsiveness - no one ever left a voicemail and it took me calling multiple times to get in touch with the project manager. The people were friendly, knowledgeable, and the workmanship and product quality are great. I would just recommend leaving voicemails and responding to e-mails for better customer experience.

They did a great job. I intend to hire them again to replace my patio doors. Their salesman was very knowledgeable pleasant to work with. He didn't make me feel intimidated or pressured. They even made sure to follow up with me to check that everything had been done to my satisfaction and make an extra trip to bring out a screen that had been missed.

We were really happy with them, they were professional and got the job done quickly. They were straightforward, honest, and kept communication open.

Fantastic! Not cheap, but fantastic! Based on the concept of "you get what you pay for" the price was totally fair.

It went perfectly. I can't say enough good things about them.
