handyman service, remodeling, house painters

Description of Work: Services performed: whole house painting, caulking, carpentry repairs to siding Mark performed whole house exterior painting and siding repairs to my home in April and did an excellant job. My house had not been painted in over 20 years and was in poor shape. He replaced the siding on one side of my home and did several carpentry repairs to my house. He painted my house with top of the line 30+ year paint from Home Depot and perfectly matched the color that I told him I wanted. He also power washed my home and applied caulking around all windows and defects. All storm windows were removed and all windows were repaired/and painted perfectly. I was very happy with the quality of his work, he hand painted my home in two coats of this high quality paint. The work took him 2 weeks to complete.

 + -1 moreMark had my kitchen countertops custom made by a custom cabinet maker to replace my exisiting 35 year old counters. Since I wanted to preserve my exisiting tile on my backsplash I had to have counters no thicker than 3/4 inch and with an apron front. I had a Wilsonart premium laminate sample I had chosen and I gave this to Mark. He measured my countertops and took all to the cabinet maker who custom made my counters from the Wilsonart laminate I had chosen. The countertops were carefully installed and fit my backsplash perfectly. This was importent to me because Home Depot told me that Wisonart countertops made by factory are 1 1/2" thick with no apron front. That would have been too thick to slide under my exisiting backsplash. Mark also installed a new kitchen sink for me and did all the plumbing. His helped removed the old grout from my backsplash and together they regrouted it to perfection. When they were through my kitchen looks wonderful. I was very happy with the countertop and installation.
