It has been over a month and I am STILL waiting for it to show up. I called Angies List last week and they told me to wait another week or two. If it doesn't show up next week I will call again.

I spoke with a salesman name John over the phone before setting up a measure and install. I was told that i would have to come to the store in person to schedule the first measure. When I arrived, a different salesman named John was working in the lighting department. He was extremely rude and seemed uninterested in doing any work or answering any of my questions. I was contacted a day or so later by Ricky (the installer) to set up a time for him to measure. He was also very rude and seemed to be irritated that he even had to do the job. When he came out, he was no more friendly than he had been on the phone. I was told by the first John not to purchase any fixtures ahead of time because the installer would tell me what type to buy. Rickey did not want to help with this at all and seemed irritated that I was asking any questions. I had to return to the store after two more days of waiting for the order to be processed to personally sign papers giving them 'permission' to install the fixtures and to pay in full for the service (even though the service hadn't been done yet). It took two more days for the installer to contact me to set up an install time. The quality of the work was great and it didn't take any time at all for 3 fixtures to be installed (about an hour). Even though I was happy with the work, the attitude of the installer and sales person in the store was not good. I've had Lowe's install many things for me over the years and never had this issue. I will not be using the Chipman store again for any installation work.

The installers were on time and did a great job. Everything looks great and works perfectly.

I bought yard supplies with that card and I spent a lot of those, so that helps yeah it was a good deal. It has pretty much everything you need in terms of electrical, plumbing supplies, you can buy appliances there and paint, garden supplies, I buy a lot of the gardening and outdoor supplies, I bought a little bit of paint and do it yourself stuff. The only thing I like about Lowe's is it got name brand; it's a very well stocked, wide array of products. Sometimes more so there at home depot but it just all depends on some people are better than others but yeah they are tried to be pretty helpful I think. I haven't ever had any problem with any of them that couldn't answer a question. It is a go to place when you have a home project. Their price is competitive. They don't have a lot of extra people there. Sometimes you have to wait or to look for somebody. So 4 or 5 years ago, it seems they have more representative on the floor than they do today. But I think it's just typical for a lot of businesses.

T he kitchen design staff were very attentive to my needs. Sherrie Holloway, in particular spent a good deal of time on my kitchen which is tiny and therefore difficult. Regardless, she spent several hours with me to overcome design problems. She recommended the Kraft-maid brand which provides dovetail joints, soft closure, recessed hinges, real wood and dovetail joints. The only concern I had was the particle board (called furniture board) cabinet boxes. There was a promotion at the time to upgrade to all plywood construction and get an overall discount of several hundred dollars. Lowes actually provides a number of these promotions every month. The promotions roll over every month. So I ended up getting all plywood construction, and a number of other promotions that ended up saving me quite a lot of money. I did have the Lowe's installer come out and measure the kitchen. I wasn't really sure if we were going to install the cabinets ourselves or have them do it. They charge $100 but on the other hand, it's a huge advantage to get the kitchen professionaly measured. (Our kitchen has some odd measurements with walls that were more narrow on one end than the other end.) I'd heard that if they get the kitchen cabinets wrong, they are responsible if they measurements are wrong. Ultimately though, you have to sign to approve the design so I don't know if you can really hold them responsible for error. The cabinets arrived as scheduled. Although Kraft-maid was not flexible on the day or time that they could deliver so I had to take off work to make sure I was home. The cabinets are beautiful and the service has been great from Lowes. I did have a couple of minor problems: One of the external cabinet skins was missing and I called Lowes and they immediately told me that they'd order that part without any charge to me because that should have been part of the original design; The other thing that happened was that the designer told me that I would be getting a rebate from the company but unfortunately, it didn't work because my bill wasn't high enough. So that was disappointing, but overall I got some good promotional deals, great service and the quality of the cabinets was excellent and the price reasonable.

,Lowe's sold me a deck, they contract the work, what I did not know is it is not their material either. They fool you with false advertisement and misrepresentation. This was supposed to be a four day job to start 9/4 and finish on 9/7. It is now 10/24 and I still do not have a usable deck. Robby from Robbie's Home Repair, the contractor maybe had one hour of work on the deck himself. All he did was call every day about nine A.M. and tell me he would be here in about an hour and show up three or four hours later dropping off three non English speaking workers. That's the only people that worked on that deck. Robbie, Lowe's asst. manager would never inspect or even acknowledge that I was having big problems with the quality and quantity of work by said non English speaking workers. All of the shoddy work had to be redone because the codes administrator would not pass the work. All this delay, only working three hours a day, Lowe's not providing quality materials has drug this out. I have a floor you cannot use, a ruined yard, a torn up house and when I called Lowe's to try to get a finish to this job I was screamed at by Robbie the asst. manager that they no longer were working on this job. How can you cancel a legal contract that they already have broken by going well over the deadline. He said he would make sure I got the grade of lumber that I already paid for or any lumber I wanted in a very smart mouth manner, have it put down at my expense. How many times does Lowe's expect me to pay for this junk. Ending the screaming session he ended the conversation by telling my if I wanted anything else I needed to go to Lowe's legal department, at witch time I ended the conversation telling him that's ok I will get my own legal department. Just check Google. Lowe's decks and you will see for yourself all the horror stories for Lowe's. I can't understand Lowe's keeping a twenty something smart mouth employee with no management skills, no people skills no customer relation skills, no skills of any kind. I am taking an $8000.00 beating on a deck I cannot use. So buyer be ware. There is a lot more to this nightmare but I won't go into it and take up anymore of your reading time. By the way, if Lowe's damages your property they tell you take it up with your homeowners, they are not responsible for damage done to your home. Jack Pleasant Valley, Mo.

We bought a sink and paid to have it installed. They told us that the installers would contact us in 48 hours. After 3 days we called back only to find out that he gave them the wrong number. So the installers didn't show up until the following week. 6 days without water in the kitchen. After the sink was install the installers had trouble with the plumbing, LEAKS, and didn't check everything out before they left. We had to call Lowes again and get them back out to fix leaks that it turned out they had caused by forcing the wrong type of drain pipe onto my drains. The young man worked on it for two hours, made calls to others whom he said knew more about plumbing than he did. He claimed there were no more leaks when he left. Not true that night we turned the dishwasher on and yep more leaks. Finally called a plumber, that had to cut open the back of our cabinet and repair the Y junction on the drain that was cracked when the people lowes sent forced the wrong P-trap onto it and created a problem that originally did not exist. Metro Mechanical is the name of the contractors that they used. If they try to send those people out, especially for plumbing work, BEWARE.. We complain to Lowes but was told that we should have called back again, so they could send them back. Well no thanks, they had already done enough damage. After the plumbing was fixed correctly my total bill came to almost $800.

I was very pleased with their service. I have also bought some appliances from them which they have installed, such as a dishwasher and dryer. They have installed lights on the exterior of my home. They have very good pricing. They always give very good service.

They are our primary go-to place. I am really impressed with them. They were very prompt and courteous. The pricing was good for the ceiling fans. I will certainly use them again.

I bought a garage door opener at Lowe's and had them contract out the job to install it. Their regular price for an install job is $115, but during this special, they discounted it to $59. (I paid more than $59 because I have a 8 ft. door and therefore needed an extension and some other special items to hook the opener properly to the garage.) Rick the installer called within 48 hours of my paying for the job. We scheduled the installation for a few days later. He called before he came, came promptly, and explained what he was going to do. He completed the job in about 2 hours. The opener works well and I'm satisfied with the work. For me, it was very worthwhile to pay Lowes to install the opener. There were extra installation items that were required that I wouldn't have known about.

The first time they came out the installed the wrong French doors. They had to come out a total of 5 times to get the right doors installed. The work started on Februrary 19 and by the time it was all said and done the work was completed on May 14. I paid them in full to have this completed but they tried to charge me $400 in additional fees; it took about 8 eight hours worth of phone calls to get the job done.

THERE WAS A DEFECT IN THE PATIO DOOR FRAME AND IT WAS REPLACED WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME.

I WAS PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE. THE GENTLEMAN ARRIVED ON TIME, WORKED VERY EFFICIENTLY, AND HE WAS VERY POLITE.
