About us

Jarvis Painting and Repairs is operated by Jim and Matthew Jarvis. We are brothers and do our own work. We take pride in our work we do and that is why our name is on our business card. We are both insured and never ask for money up front. We accept, cash, check and major credit cards (add 2%). We are located in Lees Summit, but service most of the metro. Jarvis Painting a repairs may be new to Angie's List but not new to the trades. Our focus is to offer affordable options to troublesome projects.

Services we offer

We offer repairs both inside and out from sheet rock to siding replacement and the proper finishes to preserve them. We repair water damage on dry wall as well as exterior siding, and wood rot solutions are a specialty of ours. That also includes deck and fences, often times they can be repaired and sealed instead of total replacement. We are also licensed to do A/C and furnace installs at some very competitive rates, as well as small electrical projects.

Services we don't offer

We do not do roofing, landscaping, or foundation repair.

They showed up asked for 50% up front, tried subcontract out jobs he said he was going to do and then walked out on the job with out saying anything while I was at home. Later sent a short email to my usband saying he quit and felt like half the job was done. The work that was done was not done well. He also said that he felt like telling me was a "cop out" to tell me and he assumed my husband would call once he received the email. Never use this guy, he will take your money and stop working if you say anything about not being happy with the work that has been done. I also requested receipts for completed work which he said he would give me ASAP and at least 3 weeks later we haven't heard from him again.
Description of Work: We had water damage that needed to be repaired in garage, main level bathroom laundry and bath and basement.
