Gutter Cover of Kansas City

My neighbor had Gutter Cover of KC put their system onto his home and was very pleased. Based upon his recommendation, I chose to get an estimate and learn about their product. The sales person Mike was very helpful, not pushy and we agreed upon a price for complete installation. There was no pressure, need for down payment or other issue in scheduling the installation. I received notice the day before install and again that morning to confirm time of arrival. The installer Riley introduced himself and we walked the property as he explained the process. He addressed any of my concerns and promptly went to work. There were portions of the roof where he felt he needed assistance, so he let us know he may not complete the install that day. An assistant came later and they worked on the areas at issue. They left later and picked up all of their equipment and materials, leaving the property in great condition. Riley was back the next morning promptly and proceeded to complete the install. He was in constant communication with us to make sure we did not have any concerns with the process. When he left, you could not see any signs that work had been done, except for the new Gutter Covers. The yard and surrounding areas were spotless! In addition, he cleaned out the debris which was in all of my gutters before adding the covers! The product is performing great and I am pleased that it will not be necessary to get ladders out to clean the gutters any longer. The overall experience was very pleasant, including talking with Sharon at the office to provide payment upon completion. This is a First Class company that I would recommend to anyone considering improving the gutter system on their home. The appearance of the finished product adds to the overall appearance of our home, and will help protect our investment for many years to come. All went well. On time, professional. Great appearance to the finished product compared to others we've evaluated. A little pricey, however we had a lot of footage and don't mind paying for quality work and product. We have a lot of trees and this will solve a life time problem of clogged gutters.

Gutter Cover of KC met every standard we could expect of a great, service oriented company. We called for an estimate and received it within a couple of days. Scheduling was done the day after we received the estimate and installation was done, on a Saturday, with a few days. The existing gutters checked out fine and the gutter covers were installed over them. The work looks great. The covers blend in with the roofing and gutters and are hard to notice unless you are looking for them. With a large oak tree in front of the home and several soft maples nearby, there is no way we would live without gutter covers. We had Gutter Cover of KC install gutter covers in our previous home several years ago and found the company to be responsive and great to work with. After a hail storm a few years back, we had a new set of covers installed, again flawlessly. With a yearly rinsing with my hose, the covers have kept me off my extension ladder and safely on the ground for many years and more to come. We would highly recommend Gutter Cover of KC without hesitation.

We decided against using them after talking to them. I thought quote was really high. They were one of the ones we talked to before going with another company. They were very responsive in coming out and giving us the quote, it was just higher than what we wanted to pay for guttering. We didn't use them, we just weren't happy with the quote. It's seems like they came right out, maybe they were desperate to sell. It seems like they got right out here.

Steve Purvis did a great job of coming out to give the bid, and he answered all of my questions. I was extremely impressed with his ability to differentiate his product from the competition without ever speaking negatively of the competition. After I sent in my approved contract (easily done through email), I was stunned to learn that they would install within a week since it was the slow season. The installer arrived while I was out, and he had begun to set up when I arrived home. I introduced myself and then went inside. I was surprised at how quickly he worked and how he made every effort to not make noise. He even performed the annual cleaning on the side he didn't installe. He was done before I knew it, knocked on my door to let me know he was done, and he was on his way. I am very happy with the people and the product, and I'm thrilled that I'll never have to stand on a ladder and dig soggy leaves out of a gutter again!

Great! They came out the same day I called and installed it in 2 days. The installers made sure the color was exactly what I wanted before installing it.

Exceptional! I can't say enough great things about Gutter Cover of KC. I researched companies online and narrowed my choices down to 3. GCKC was the quickest to respond, made an appointment on the phone and showed up on time. The sales rep said that my existing gutters could be replaced, but it wasn't absolutely necessary and he gave me prices for the job with and without new guttering (very reasonable). He estimated the amount of repair & replacement needed for the soffits & fascia and explained that if they encountered more damage during the job, it could affect the price and exactly how much per sq. ft. that could be (also very reasonable). Company #2 came by later and not only insisted that the gutters needed to be replaced but by the time the rep was finished, presented me with an offer that was more than double that of Gutter Cover. When I questioned all the extra work, the rep insisted that it all needed to be done. I almost laughed. All he had to do was look around at my 1,300 sf home, badly in need of a paint job and the 15 year old Nissan in the driveway to know that I wasn't going to be talked into the Gold Plan. Company #3 had an estimate similar to GCKC. However, after reading a little more on the internet, I made my final decision because I just felt more comfortable with the reputation and guarantees offered by Gutter Cover of Kansas. They were backed up by a month, even in November and promised to call when they got closer to the time. I reasoned that since I had waited this long, I could wait another month and besides, it's not like they were the only company in town so if they were busy, that they must mean they are good. The Monday of the week I had noted in my calendar, they called and said they planned to come that Friday. By Thursday, the forecast was very bleak - freezing rain, etc. and I fully expected them to cancel. Friday morning they called to tell me that they were going to be arriving a little later in the day, as they wanted to pre-prime the raw wood for the repairs indoors first so it would be dry - and could be installed regardless of the weather (who knew?!). They showed up late morning and worked without stopping until dusk and I watched in amazement - this cat-in-the-hat crew packing, dusting, sweeping, and gathering up the final bits as the sun set behind them. There was no screw or scrap left behind and not a dime over the original estimate. A week later it rained and they called to make sure that all was well. It was shortly thereafter that I noticed that a downspout was disconnected at the back of the house. I called, they responded IMMEDIATELY, and had someone out within 24 hours with many apologies. A month later, there was a knock at the door and one of their crew was at the door asking if he could once again do a quick walk around to make sure that everything was still looking good. I rarely give reviews. I have to be extremely unhappy, or over the moon about a company to take the time. Needless to say, the performance of Gutter Cover of Kansas City has moved me to write a RAVE. I own my own business and I pride myself on taking excellent care of my clients. I expect the same service from other small businesses and am too often confronted with those who are stuck on being "right", rather than "great". Sorry if this was long, but Gutter Cover of Kansas City deserves all 360 words.

Covers look awesome, they blend properly with the house. No more risking life and limb up the roof! The company called to follow up until date was set. Crew came on time, they were friendly and answered all my questions. The work looks well done, the only thing remaining is rain for the final test.

The salesman was very knowledgeable in explaining how the Gutter Cover system works. The staff in the office was polite and kept us up to date. The installer was punctual and had our work done in one day and left no mess.He cleaned out our gutters as he installed the covers. The price was right. The Main thing is their recommendation that the installation of the gutter guards should fix my problem. I had a problem area where water was coming into my house when it would rain. We had a heavy rain last night and we didn’t have any water in the house at all. What they recommended was honest and solved my problem. They were punctual and did clean work.

The install was easy and quick. My installer (can't remember his name, sorry) was very courteous and professional. He didn't take any breaks and had the job completed before his estimated time. My covers look great and they also added an extension to my gutter on the side of the house so that water goes away from the house and can't possibly get into my basement again.
