We obtained quotes from 5 Angie's List recommended roofing contractors. Geremiah Gilliland, owner of G&G Restoration, worked very closely with us throughout the process to educate us on the products choices, installation process, possible upgrades, and the warranty. He was the only one that did not come in and tell us he was the only contractor in KC to do or use product XYZ or the only contractor to do XYZ. G&G Restoration started and finished as scheduled. If we ever had a question or concern, Geremiah immediately addressed them and always kept very open lines of communication. After the work was completed, the yard was left the same as it was when they arrived. Strongly recommend them for your roofing needs.

We are very pleased. We called about 7 roofing places. Some didn't call, some couldn't be out until friday or next week (today is monday) and when I called Geremiah he said he would be out in a few hours. Very prompt and responsive service which was much appreciated since we are under contract to sell this home in a few weeks and the inspection turned up roof problems that need to be fixed for the sale to proceed. He kept us updated throughout the afternoon as to his location and when he would arrive at our house. Geremiah explained everything he was going to do regarding the inspection and pointed out some problem I needed to know about. He was very professional and knowledgable. We very much appreciated him pulling the large birds next out of our super hot attic, which ended up filling two 55 gallon garbage bags. We paid him for that service. We are very happy and are planning to hire G&G in the future.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for $99.00 . He went up and replaced some missing shingle and checked over the roof. It went great and I was very satisfied.

While I was working in our attic, replacing a bathroom exhaust fan, I noticed sunlight coming through where the plumbing vent went through the roof. I called Geremiah Gilliland, the owner of G & G Restorations, because he and his crew repaired a portion of our roof a year and a half ago, and I was very satisfied with the work they did. When I told him who I was, he remembered me, and the work they had done, which surprised and pleased me. He came by today and personally replaced the flashing. His work was fast and successful. And he didn't charge me for the repair or material. One less thing to worry about this rainy Spring.

Was responsive to my order, called me for more details about roof issues. He arrived on time, described what he was going to do, took pictures for my records. Cleaned up the work area. Very helpful and professional.

The vinyl siding was up in a week and looks amazing. Very pleasant to work with. Added guttering the next week and again the job was done quickly and looks awesome. Geremiah even came out and made some final touches himself after the job was completed. Geremiah is very particular and wants it to be 100% to your satisfaction which it definately was!! Thanks Geremiah, from one happy customer!!

The job was done right and photos taken of completed work to show us since we could not see from the ground. Geremiah verified our trust in him and we would highly recommend his company.

Jerimiah was great, roof looks great, paint job looks great. I would highly recommend him and I am not easily pleased.

Pre-payed for a $99 siding "tune up" / inspection package that led to a high-priced bid for some basic paint and restoration work. We ended up getting the paint done by a painting company at about 1/3 the price quoted by G&G, and the siding will be repaired by our handyman at a similar "discount." Maybe this company would be worth working with for a big job, but for something small or midsize, I just don't see it. Unfortunately, this was $99 out the window for us, and I see the package as no more than a marketing gimmick.

They came out a little bit later when the weather got a little bit better. There was a problem with the day that they were supposed to come do it. They did not get there that day and they did it the next day. They did cleanup. There was not any problem with cleanup. They did an okay job. I am not a roofing person so I cannot say whether they did a great job or a poor job or anything like that. If my friends have some roofing problems, I would tell them to bring this guy over and get an estimate from him. It would not be any problem with me. The quality was pretty good. They did respond quickly when we originally called them.

It turned out very well and they did a good job. They were very informative about what they were putting on the roof and they worked really hard. It took them two days because they had to redo the whole roof. The original estimate was $7,000 and the final cost was about $10,500 because they had to put plywood all over the roof and they didn't know that in the beginning.

Was able to put our roof on with short notice. Quality job and exceeded our expectations!

This company was recommended to me by the construction company that I had remodel my daughters bathroom, they use this company for their roofing needs. They were very professional, curteous, punctual, and called me several times to keep me updated. Word of Mouth is definately the way to go! Geramiah, the owner was so nice, took the time to show me things, thouroughly explain things and ask my opinion on things. His crew worked in freezing weather, in fact, because of the weather change (you know Missouri weather!) he said he would have two crews working to get the job done in one day instead of two, and he actually had four crews! They were very skilled, constantly cleaned up the debri and made sure all was picked up after the job was complete. His price was fair, and I enjoyed having his company work for us. I would definately recomment him to anyone needing not only roof work done, but anything else on your home as well. My roof looks fantastic, and I am greatly pleased with this company

We set up the first appointment for the owner to look at my damage to prepare an estimate for the repairs needed. The time he gave me was between 10:30 and 12: 30 p.m. on 9/11/2014. He never showed. I called him about 2:30 p.m. to find out what happened and if he was still interested in doing the job. He assured me he was still interested, but couldn't come that day. He said his assistant was in my area and could be there in 15 - 20 minutes to take a preliminary look and take some pictures to help him prepare an estimate. I waited over 1 & 1/2 hrs. and the assistant never showed either. I called the owner back again between 4:30 and 5 p.m. to tell him the assistant never showed. He said the assistant must have gone to the wrong house. As it was the end of the day, the owner told me he would contact me the next day. Never heard from him the next day. I decided to e-mail him over the weekend to see if he was still interested. He wrote me back that he would contact me on Monday or Tuesday, 9/15 or 9/16. Needless to say I've never heard from him again. I gave up on using G & G Restoration for my repair project. I have since found someone else to make the repair.

The aerial person did the service for me and sent me pictures. He got very aggressive. He wanted to do the roofing job and the conversation did not go well. They scared me. We did not go with this company and chose a second company.

It was very positive experience. He called me and told me they were located in Kansas and he could not service me at that distance. It was probably my fault I didn’t look closely at the details, but it was my first time on Angie’s list.

I did not notice the home location of G&G services. the deal seemed to be an answer to prayer. I did not know something was wrong until G&G contacted me and explained their problem and suggested solution. I still need roof work done and I still think Angie's List is a great resource. Hopefully this clarifies why I rated them like I did.

It went fine. It was for a rental property and they worked on the scheduling with the tenant. It was for a one story home. I didn't hear back from them about the inspection.

It was a very thorough estimate. Detailed descriptions with photos and reccomendations. We didn't get the roof replaced by G&G but felt their service was good.

Roof was repaired and we are no longer experiencing any issues! Gerimiah answered all my questions (I had a gazillion), was polite and respectful. Family man who runs a business dedicated to roofing and storm repairs. He knows what he is doing. While I only used G&G to help with a trouble issue on the flat part of my roof that began leaking during a storm ... I would absolutely use him in the future to repair my whole roof. Many years back, I had another roofer who skipped corners and I would fully trust Gerimiah to make all of the repairs exactly how they should be done, without taking shortcuts. Tried to tell me there was wood rot but could not show me any. Offered to sell me gutter covers that were very very expensive.

I contacted G&G Restoration regarding a roof replacement. They quickly contacted me and set up a time to inspect the roof. They were thorough in their inspection, taking me to the roof and directly showing me the issues and explaining the work that needs to be done. They provided me with a lot of options for the replacement. They even talked with the insurance adjuster to verify the work being done. They were very informative and communicative during the initial approval process. G&G Restoration quickly got the work started, and they were finished replacing the roof within a couple of days. No real issues came up during the work, went smoothly and efficiently. They also cleaned up extremely well after the work was completed. The new roof looks beautiful, will last a long time, and was well-worth the cost and work. The process with them was fairly painless. They were always able to chat about the work and were very responsive with their follow-up. I would recommend them to other people and would use them for future projects.
