Called company on 2/1/12 gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled work for 2/2/12. Arrived at appointed time looked at the situation and told me he would replace the shutoff valve to the heater that wasn't working. He also rerouted some water pipes to make the shutoff easier to reach. Very professional honest workmanship. Having been a liscensed plumber for 21 years myself, I knew what to expect and what to hear. It took him at least an extra hour to change out the new valve and reroute, and he only charged me for the parts and not for the extra time involved. Extremely considerate of the customer, which is hard to find in this day and age. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will. My only regret is that you do not have a higher rating---THIS COMPANY DESERVES IT!!!

I have fixed leaks before, and it is usually a flapper valve. I put in two, but that didn't work, and I just couldn't figure it out. The person that came out from Golden's Plumbing Co was good, and he really did good work. He was doing so good that I asked him to replace the shut-off valve while he was here. They had put in one of the cheap ones when they built the house, but they have older quarter-turn valves that are really good, so I had him go ahead and put that in. They had good comments on Angie's List, which is one of the reasons why I chose them. I also had a little sewer problem, and although they don't do that kind of work, they have another company that does it, and they also did a good job. I can call Golden for the sewer work, and guys from the other company will come out. I was really pleased with Golden and would rate them highly. I will use them again in the future.

Called Mike at around 5 pm to unplug a basement drain that was preventing us from emptying soapy water from the washer. At this point, we were not sure if this was under the cement or in the main pipe in the yard, so the problem could have escalated. Mike had someone out within a couple of hours to snake the drain (which we had already tried) and had us up and running again - at a reasonable price for after hours. We'd also made arrangements with Mike to come out and give a quote on another project and re-checked the price on a new hot water heater that weI'd inquired about several weeks ago. He worked with our schedules to come out and take a look. The price was thankfully within budget, so I scheduled the work. The hot and cold water pipes and drain to the laundry tub were not the proper materials nor properly installed by the prior owner. My intentions were that this was a straight forward replacement, but we threw him a curve and had him move the utility tub a bit to accomodate better positioning of the washer and dryer. He had no problem accomodating - and even helped move the appliances. When replacing the hot water tank, he saw that the existing pipe was not plumb. He didn't need to touch it - but it bothered him, so he asked if he could fix it...along with a valve for the humidifier that was close by. He didn't exceed his original quote. He cleaned up before he left, and took the very heavy calcium filled hot water heater with him. Mike was recommended to me 4 years ago, and I have used him several times. I am always very happy with the job he does. He has proven to be a very good plumber and honest businessman. He is a small business, so there have been a couple of times when he's asked to delay or re-schedule when a job took longer than planned or an emergency came up, but he has been respectful of my time and easy to work with. I don't mind a delay when I know well enough in advance to change my schedule, and I'm happy that he's been able to work me into his schedule for an emergency. I've recommended him to others and will continue to use him myself.

Mike arrived at the appointed time and got right to work. When he realized that the faucet we had purchased for him to put in was the wrong type, he offered to return it for us and get one that fit properly....at no extra charge to us. He installed the faucet and it works perfectly.

He was prompt and did good work. He came out the same day we called. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. The customer service was fine and we didn't have any problems.

He did a great job. Other than the fact that he was a little late, he was very good. He cleaned the mess and carried away the old toilet. He installed the new one. He was here for about two and half hours, and he did a wonderful job. We did not even know except for the new things be put that he had even been here. Apart from the quote he gave me his ratings on Angie’s list made me go with him. I have recommended him to others. He was professional, courteous, and there was no mess when he left. He even took the old toilet with him. I would rate him an A+. He was great.

They were great and it was just delightful.
