+ -1 moreWe requrested names of home designers as there aren't many in the area and tried to use local talent. This was one name provided. We met with and discussed our plans and retained his services. It took him almost 3 months to complete what should have taken one month. The first plan was not correct and included his ideas not ours. We told him what we wanted, provided additional pictures and drawings and a punch list and sent him back tot he drawing board. The process of getting the drawings to our satisfaction was never achieved after 3 more months of effort. We settled our account and dismissed his services.
Description of Work: Client provided Architect a home design concept with pictures and floor plan example and the architect didn't understand and designed what he wanted. After three renditions and many requested changes that continued to add to our cost. We finalized our plans and terminated our relationshipt with the architect. I ended up having the plans reviewed by a mechanical enginner and draftsman to make the corrections necessary and during mechanical review identified many structural errors made by the architect.
