Description of Work: we met for an estimate on a new deck. They requested that we e-mail our planes and the type of material to them and they would submit a price. e-mailed the planes and never heard from them Called twice and they finally just said $26000. never giving us a written proposal.

Description of Work: I sent an email with my dimensions and only wanted to replace the deck simple 12x20 came back with a quote or $8,000.00. had received previous quotes including a cement one for 3,000.00 They were way out of line.

Description of Work: I called them to get a quote on either adding to or redoing my deck. They should up when they said they would and gave my a lot of information. His price was on the high side and I was not able to use him.

+ -1 moreExcellent. The designer work with us throughout the project to make adjustments to the original design as needed. He intervened when one of the materials arrived with a different color shade from the samples we selected. The end product looked better than our original design.
Description of Work: Removed termite-infested deck ASAP. Replaced with newly designed deck with ever-grain composite material & aluminum spindles. We met more of our neighbors that were interested in the construction techniques and composite materials. Professional CAD-CAM design on site. Owner inspected the work three times during construction. Skilled craftsmen. The diagonal deck boards were installed in one place each. No joints! Looks great. Very custom appearance. Expensive, but worth it to have a supervisor product that requires very little maintenance. Keep up the good work.

We met with Dan Hall (Design Consultant) who, after meeting with us to discuss our needs, provided us with a detail picture as well as a very detailed spec sheet and estimate of the cost of the project. Archadeck's product is of very high quality; industry standards are usually exceeded making them well worth the cost if you want to do the job right. One of the most impressive things about working with Archadeck was the gentleman who performed the majority of the work for them. He not only worked hard and did high quality work, but he was extremely considerate of our family as well as the neighbors. We received many compliments from neighbors who observed him working and interacted with him. Our concerns with going with a national name like Archadeck were put to rest with the very local feel of the people we worked with. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality job.

+ -1 moreThe job started a little later than we had hoped. His people were very considerate and communicative. Steve monitored the work almost daily and talked with us whenever there were questions. Even though our work team experienced illness and a wife having a child, the guys made up any loss time and finished the project in a timely manner. Steve at one point asked them to redo part of the sheeting because he was not happy with the finished appearance.
Description of Work: Removal of old deck replacing it with a 16 X 20 screened porch and deck with stairs. We spent several weeks looking for the right contractor. Steve made us feel very comfortable with the plan, quality of materials and workmanship. He also offered several similar projects we could visit to talk with previous clients. We had a contract to protect both of us and spell out the process before it started.

+ -1 moreWe are extremely pleased with the look of our deck, the work performance of this company, and especially of the supervision and follow through of Dan Hall. If he was not available, we saw the owner of the company come out and check on the progress. Good company, and a great job. Reasonable price.
Description of Work: We met Dan Hall at the Spring Lawn and Garden Show in Overland Park. We talked to him about removing an old cedar deck and having a new one built with Timber Tech material. Dan gave us a lot of useful information and we set up an appointment with him for a few days later. Dan came with more information and offered to design a computer sketch of what we talked to him about regarding our deck replacement. His sketch was what we were looking for and we made a few modifications. The work began 3 weeks later with the removal of the old deck while we were out of town. Everything went well and was hauled away by the time we got back. The new deck took almost 3 weeks to build. The 2 workers were there every day for at least 8 hours. They were neat about their work and polite. If we had any questions or concerns, we contacted Dan and within an hour, he had contacted his crew to accommodate us.
