I had a thought...."I wanted a hot tub", then somehow that thought became reality...I received a call from Frank offering they're moving services on a Thursday afternoon by that weekend I'd made a decision to purchase a used hydro therapy hot tub, I accepted Frank's offer to help move this tub and he quickly pulled a crew together and Monday "Always Helpful Movers", called 1st thing that morning and went and picked up that 6 person hot tub in the rain, and kept it safe over night, then brought it to me 1st thing Tuesday morning. It was definitely a tall order in which everyone handled it with total professionalism. I was elated, humble and greatful to John, Frank and the rest of the crew for all they're hard work in making my dream of owing a hydro therapy hot tub a reality. God bless This dream would not have happened without they're knowledge, expertise, and workmanship; because there's absolutely no way I could have done this on my own....thank you all for helping me. I am now a proud owner of my very own hydro therapy hot tub.

Moving is stressful and this company will help ease those concerns. They took great care with my furniture and fragile items which is super important to me. They are such nice guys and eager to please! The cost was reasonable too.

They were very polite, wrapped all my furniture up to protect it, and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner.

When my wife and I were selling our house, I asked our realtor if he knew of a reputable and dependable moving service. He recommended Always Helpful Movers saying that they had moved him and several clients of his. All of them had good reports and our realtor added that John the owner of the moving company was also a missionary traveling around the world to share the good new of Jesus Christ and praying for the sick. I called John and found him very congenial and price competitive. We had a couple of special issues. We were moving from a large house and large shop into a small house and multiple storage units all at different locations. He was very accommodating in this and when we forgot a couple of things for the house his men were very helpful to retrieve them from the storage. In fact, we rented ample storage to ensure there was room for everything but his men were efficient in storing so we were able to save money by releasing the excess space. The other special issue in our transition was a baby grand piano, my wifeâ s baby. We had already contacted a piano mover for the job but John explained that he had move numerous pianos and it was really no problem, we did not need the extra expense of a special mover. I was thinking yes there are many upright pianos and over the years I too have moved and helped friends move pianos. However, I have seen the results of armatures attempting to move a baby grand. If such a piano is dropped, it can never be fully restored and my wife is very fond of this piano and its special quality (to our ears anyway). John did move it. He did know exactly what he was doing and even my wife said he treated it like his own baby. John and his men were also attentive to details. What they took apart, tables, beds, etc., they put back together. All the parts screws, etc. were wrapped together and nothing was lost, broken or scratched. There were even a few things we overlooked on the walls that they willingly removed for us. All of the men were congenial and Always Helpful Movers. It was a great experience.

The movers were quick! They had me moved in no time at all. Plus, they were extra careful with my items. I was booked and moved all within 4 days, during a holiday!

I am a real estate agent. I had clients refer Always Helpful Movers to me after they used them for their move. When it was time for my move John came over and gave me a bid after seeing exactly what the work would entail. On the day of the move the men were prompt, courteous, hard working and went above and beyond to get a piece of furniture down the stairs at the new home. I have recommended them to many clients since and everyone has been thankful for my referral!

Move was fast and they were very nice men!

I was pretty unhappy with the move, to be honest. I don?t fault the movers?they did what they could. They accommodated me as much as they could, including hauling away carpet. But they were not told that I had requested packing as well. They weren?t prepared for that and tried but it delayed everything. Additionally the materials used to package seemed pulled together last minute. The packaging for the TV seemed to be cardboard taped together, as did the packaging for the art. The packaging for the mattresses also seemed taped together as opposed to being a protective cover to guard against bedbugs. The wardrobe boxes are rented, which honestly horrified me when I learned that because it seemed to indicate they are reused. The furniture also experienced some damage and I now have a noticeable chip on my entertainment. After I got all moved, I felt so overwhelmed. Boxes were generically labeled and I still haven?t found my remotes. I started getting emotional afterwards and felt like the lack of preparation gave me more work than I had wanted. I just felt awful. I also had last minute costs as the estimate I had gotten for the packing hadn?t included labor. So that was more than anticipated as well. Like I said, though, the guys did what they could. I still have every intention of tipping them and cleanly forgot. Sorry, guys?you did what you could.

This company was amazing, I am so thankful for them! John in the office was very helpful and movers were focused and did the job well done! Price was competitive. Definitely best move ever! Thankful for always helpful movers, would recommend them to everyone.

Did good job

Nice guys. The two young men were very professional. They were there to do a job and they got it done in an hour. These guys didn’t play around. Love that.

They vastly overcharged me. Upon unloading, they threw my carefully-packaged boxes around, rather then gently placing them where I showed them to go. They disassembled by computer and printer connections and my DVD/VCR connections to my television, but did not reassemble either. The other movers I contacted did not respond by phone, but rather texted me, but I do not text , being an old F. (fellow) Because of this company, I have changed my phone answer words to tell people NOT to text me! In sum, a worthless company; not to be used.

They jumped on the job quickly and gave a good bid. However, during the move, one of the crew broke one of my headboards. I was told by the crew that they would refund me the price of the piece or replace it. They then took it with them. I had to call for a solid 2 weeks to finally get someone to call me back about it and was then told that the piece was not covered by my contract. So why did it take 2 weeks to be told that?!? I was further told they would try and repair it? as best they could.? Again I had to repeatedly follow up for 2 months to finally get them scheduled and to get the piece back. The leg was? repaired,? but now it has water damage? so basically it is worthless. Highly disappointed. I was excited they were local and family-owned? guess that does not mean what it used to mean. I will definitely use a different moving company for my next move and will not recommend them to any of my friends or family.

On time movers. Didnâ t have to go through a long process of getting an estimate, done in about 20-30 minutes on the phone. Other movers where on the phone for more then an hour or had to send out a rep. Owner was very good about following up on progress.
