FAIRCHILD CUSTOM CABINETRY

Here is the good and bad. The ultimate product is without a doubt fantastic. Darren the owner takes great pride in managing the shop as well as the quality of his work. He is quite proficient at what he does. The bad: if you are looking for your cabinets any time soon, you may want to go somewhere else. We had our plans submitted in September. We made a commitment to proceed in early October. We had Fairchild's contract installer rip out our old kitchen in mid Dec. so our flooring could be replaced. At that time our expectations were to have production begin on our cabinets at that time, and installed two weeks later when our floors were completed. Unfortunately, the cabinets were not started until the second week of January and were delivered late that month putting us at a stand still for more than two weeks whereby we were living in a home with no kitchen. When queried, Fairchild would rarely return our phone calls, texts, or emails. Occasionally they would answer only to hand us some lame excuse. Their installer is quite experienced, but at times unreliable when it comes to showing up. The install took just over two weeks which was a bit lengthy and frustrating as we did not have a kitchen for more than two months by the time the project was completed. All in all, we are quite happy with the end result. However, we were a bit disappointed from a customer service point of view.
