VOTRUBA EXCAVATING

I had used this company once last fall and had no trouble with responsiveness or with their service back then. I decided that I would use them again for cabling my line to get tree roots removed from my pipes. I left a voicemail on 5/11 - phone call not returned; Called 2nd time on 5/13 and got a hold of a man who said he was mowing and would call me back later that day, but never got phone call returned; Left another voicemail 5/15 and never received a return phone call, so I wrote this review on 5/17. I will not be using them in the future since they are now unresponsive to customers.

They did the camera and location work, excavation, and repair. They did it safely using correct anti-cave in equipment. Filled trench back in so it looked good when they were done.

Excellent! I was referred to this company via another plumbing company on Angies List. Replacement of a lateral line requires a licensed master drain layer and they did not have one on staff, however they used Votruba when the situation arose. He was very expeditious in his estimate, checking the site that evening. The tenant of the property was very difficult to deal with scheduling and he made it a point to shuffle his schedule to accommodate her needs. As for pricing, he was the lowest of four bids--in fact beating the highest bid by $2,000.00. When you hire Votruba you get Matt (the owner) and his assistant. In my opinion, better quality control when the owner is actually performing the work.
