 + -1 moreOverall the work went very well. We called him on 8/10/07 and he was here the next day to give us an estimate. With the shopping he had to do to match our cabinets it took him about a month. We had told him up front that we were in no hurry. The work was done and completed on 9/12/07. He had an assistant with him and they worked well together. Before they left they cleaned up all the equipment, sawdust, etc. so it was spotless when they left.
Description of Work: We needed kitchen cabinet doors on the back of a cabinet that was a solid back. Kevin came to the house, measured and took a drawer front to match the color when he shopped for and purchased the doors. When he came to do the work he was very careful and did a neat and tidy job. He consulted with us before he did any work, which was very much appreciated.

 + -1 moreIt went pretty well overall. Kevin is a great guy. But the first guy he sent here to do the painting did a poor job. But Kevin came back and fixed all his work and finished the job at his original quote. Because of the inexperience of the first guy he sent, the job took longer than it should have.
Description of Work: Painted a foyer, stairs, and hallway. Repaired water damaged wall next to shower, caulked a few windows and showers. Fixed problem at back door from water damage.

We told him what results we wanted, and he clearly described what he planned to do, and was willing to follow our requests when we wanted him to do things differently. He was very focused on our ultimate satisfaction. We got exactly what we wanted at a good price.
Description of Work: Kevin repaired the drywall in our basement bedroom, which was damaged over areas of about 10 square feet. He installed access panels in the ceiling to leave us with access to utility lines, and put new doors on our circuit-breaker box. He (and a co-worker) repainted the whole room, and installed new baseboard once a new carpet had been put in. He also re-tiled an area about 1ft by 2ft in the kitchen, and repaired and painted a small area of broken plaster in our living room.
