In the Spring of 2012, Mr. Johnston agreed to mow the property every couple of weeks at a reasonable price. Mr. Johnston would mow, and then send us pictures of the job via email (we lived out of town). Also, we agreed to have Mr. Johnston redo our outside porch. A porch with guttering was installed. This was completed early fall of 2012. Unfortunately all the guttering (within 6 months of completion) has fallen off. We have requested on several occasions to have the guttering fixed. We emailed, called, texted, etc. No answer. April of 2013, we finally were able to reach Mr. Johnston. He told us that he had had car issues and had been unable to provide any services. We were told this had been fixed and he was ready to begin the work promised. We also had told him to put in a sliding glass door. We sent payment for this to be complete. We also renewed the mowing services. Weeks passed with no work done. Tried on several occasions to get ahold of him. From April to July the grass was mowed once. We hired someone else to put in the sliding glass door. I had a conversation with Mr. Johnston on July 1 about all the issues. He apologized and accepted responsibility for not not returning phone calls. During the conversation, Mr. Johnston stated the guttering was due to weather issues and not structural issues. I stated my concern that this shouldn't be happening after 6 months of installation. He agreed. He said we needed $10 of tools to fix it and that if I would pay that he would do it. We agreed (and confirmed this twice on the phone due to past problems) that he would call me the next day and set up a time to fix this ASAP. Mr. Johnston never called. Also during this phone call conversation, Mr. Johnston stated that he had decided about a month ago to suspend mowing services at our residence. He felt it wasn't profitable. This was stated on the phone. He let me know that he hadn't had time to call or contact us about this. Meanwhile, our grass hadn't been cut in 1+ month. Completely unacceptable. Our deck is beat by the sun all day. We contacted them to see options on putting a roof over our deck. They had the prefect addition to the deck. A low cost maintenance free patio cover that was also screened in. Now we can use our deck year around. It looks great we never have to paint it stain it or sand it down like most everyting else we looked at
