St Louis Jewelry Appraisals

I found St Louis Jewelry Appraisals by doing an on-line search.  Their service stood out because of the information detailed on their web page.  Mr. Jim Summa, the owner, has very credible credentials, and they also stated that they are not buyers.  I called Mr. Summa and discussed my needs and set up an appointment to come in.  Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the staff. 
I was introduced to Anne Howitt by the owner Jim Summa.  Anne is Mr. Summa's assistant and also has credible credentials as a gemologist.  They explained the process of the appraisal, and upon my agreement, proceeded to do the full appraisal of one ring, and a summary appraisal of the four others.  The process was pleasant in that they explained what they were doing, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, and shared information about themselves to add to my comfort level.
At the end of the experience, which took under an hour, I felt like I had received considerably more than I had purchased.
