Rich did a great job. Attention to detail. Punctual. Not all that good on daily cleanup, but good at the end. Went the extra mile to find special trims using his sources. Good reasonable pricing on some supplies.
Description of Work: remodeled kitchen. Provided demolition, rebuilding and carpentry services only. I purchased cabinets and flooring, all other needs so those costs are not included in total cost.

Rich is eager to work and timely every day. He plans well and usually has all that he needs available for the day when he gets there. He is a hard worker and often would work through lunch without a break. We have left him alone in our home without consequence. He will work on weekends or into the night to bring the project in on time. He can agree to an upfront cost - not to exceed - or time and materials. In our most recent project, it involved demolition of one wall, soffits, and a concrete set bathroom floor....you know done the old way. Rich handled busting everything up, and carted it all off to the dump for a reasonable cost. I have marveled at how many times he will test fit and recut trim to achieve perfection....long after I would be happy with a mitre joint...and he doesnt waste trim or resources. Amazing. His construction is solid and well built. He got our project done in about 2.5 weeks; we did our own painting, but he handled all the other aspects of remodeling. He knows good subcontractors that he has worked with before and uses them...they are reasonably priced as well
Description of Work: Rich remodeled our kitchen and bathroom most recently. He did a wonderful job and is a true craftsman. He uses "old fashioned" proven carpentry skills to achieve excellent results. We have an older home with solid brick walls. Dealing with nearly any project in this house has been difficult. Rich is true to the existing architectural style and strives to make the new work look like it has always been there. Living in a second generation home, it is important to me that all changes be done to a high degree of finish and quality. Rich appreciates that and shares that goal. He has extensive experience with older homes and is aware of how they are built, and how to work around peculiarities to achieve desired goals. He has removed and replaced my entire living room floor (14X24) to repair massive termite damage, has installed a Pella French Door, redone our closets, bathrooms and kitchen over the past 4 years. I have also used him at my sons homes, to completely finish out a basement, add a bedroom and redo a bathroom and to make some minor modifications to a kitchen. All work has been done in a very craftsman like manner, and importantly the fixes have remained classic durable and without problems.
