+ -1 moreI enjoyed working with Patrick at Big Bend Landscaping and am thrilled with the job he did. He took charge of the project and saw it to completion in an efficient manner. Sergio, his foreman, was also great and he made sure that the work was done perfectly. Plus, every evening they would clean up and leave the yard in decent order. We did some research and found that the pavers Pat uses are top quality. We think our patio is absolutely beautiful and owe it to Pat, Sergio and the workers who gave me great advice and did beautiful work.
Description of Work: We had a brick patio torn out and replaced with a paver patio and low wall. We had a gas line extended and electric lights installed as well.

+ -1 moreWe are very pleased. Patrick was always responsive and professional, and did everything he promised when he promised. On the day I had expected them and taken time off work to be home, he knocked on my door at the appointed time and, with apologies, explained that rain would arrive earlier than expected, and they would only get in about one hour of work and so needed to reschedule. I understood and appreciated that he come to tell me. He promised to be out the following business day if the weather cooperated. Sure enough, the rain arrived exactly when he said it would (I guess a landscaper would get pretty good at weather-watching.) When they completed the work I was extremely pleased. They left one bit of any sort of trash or damage. They carefully protected the plants they had to work around, and the beds looked wonderful and still look great. I also appreciated Patrick's willingness to share his knowledge, generously answering my questions about how to best take care of what I have and his advise about how to decide what we might put in to replace what we had taken out.
Description of Work: They removed two 15-foot tall arborvitae bushes, 4 barberry bushes and a large ash tree. They also ground out the stump of the ash tree and chopped out a root that had "surfaced." They replaced the bed's edging next to the sidewalk in the front bed, sprayed pre-emergent in all of the garden beds and dropped 2" of mulch in all the beds.

+ -1 moreThey did a really good job. It looks really nice. They saved me a lot of work. They were really responsive. One gentleman worked in the rain one day for me. They offered a lot of good recommendations and options.
Description of Work: They came and took out a lot of ivy and took four box woods. They took out all of my plants. They put down a weed salt compound. They transplanted a lot of plants I wanted planted. They planted some grass for me. They moved a small tree in my back yard. They put in some brick work in around my patio. They also cleaned out the side of my house with weeds and such and put in large rocks for landscaping. They laid down some sod. They took care of a drainage problem.
