I would HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company. We hired this company after we had our dishwasher leak on our hardwood floors while we were on vacation. We chose to go through a contractor (Zipco) for the hopes of convenience and quality. Unfortunately, we walked into a nightmare of a year of both major inconveniences and extremely poor work. In the water damage, the only things needing repair were the floors, trim, and toe kicks. Every single one of those items were done incorrectly and many corners were cut. The most frustrating part is that the contractor (Dan) never caught any of these blantenly obvious mistake, we had to track him down multiple times and had to take countless day off work for his workers to correct the mistakes. -Toe kicks were installed 2 inches too short and they used the floor stain rather than trying to match the cabinets (a completely different color). They took a piece of wood and shoved in the top to try to hide it from the side. -The baseboard was cut too short, so instead of adding a correct length they glued on an extra piece and it was literally bowing off the wall. -The floors were stained unevenly throughout the house and had to be re-sanded and re-stained putting us out of the house for multiple weeks (at our expense). The floorboards were also cut to short under the cabinets so they had to come back and add pieces that looked terrible just so we didn’t have holes where flooring should have been. The hardwood floors have separated throughout the entire floor of the house because they didn’t acclimate the wood. And now less than a year later the flooring is cracking in multiple places and they refuse to uphold our flooring warranty because they claim the dishwasher leaked again. However, THEIR plumber that they sent confirmed that it hadn’t and some of the places that it is cracking is nowhere near anywhere water could reach. While they came out to fix the trim and toe kicks. It is incredibly horrifying that Every single thing they there were supposed to do work on, they absolutely ruined. And now we are stuck with a very expensive floor that is ruined by them. We have been incredibly patient, giving them the opportunity to fix there wrongs multiple times, but that this point they refuse to make it right. I could not in good conscience recommend this company to anybody. The pictures say everything! Do not walk away…… RUN!

Description of Work: Asked for company to come and evaluate a repair of fire damage. I gave them a copy of my insurance quote when they came and they agreed it was not enough for the job. I asked them to come up with a better estimate along with another company. They promised to get back to me within 2 days. After a week of not hearing from them I called them back The rep Glen Donelly told me at that time they are not willing to quote on a job that was also being looked at by some one else. If I wanted them to do the job which is apppoximately $20,000 worth of work they would do it and treat me fairly but no estimate up front.....that it is too much work to make an estimate I asked why they strung me along for a week and he said they just made the decision not to bid on friday...although it was late morning monday when I called them so it is obvious they never had any intention to call back. We were contacted by this client to look at a fire that had happened in a rental home he owned. I met him at the property to review the damage and discuss his options. During the meeting we looked at the damaged structure and presented him with several questions regarding his policy and his plans for repair of the home. He informed me that he had a carpenter and a drywall contactor look at the project previous to our arrival, and he would be getting another number from a fourth source.After review of the home I told him i would get back with him in a few days. On large property loss projects it takes many hours and resources to generate an estimate for repair. Once I reviewed all of the information regarding his claim (damage review from visiting the loss, insurance estimate from the adjuster and conversations with the owner as to the reason for the loss and their plan for repair) I decided we would decline to offer a price for his project for many reasons. The decision to pass on offering our services was made over the weekend. I had scheduled to contact him by the end of business on Monday, which was the next business day. Unfortunately there are times we have to walk away from a project, because the circumstances surrounding the project would not be beneficial for our company.

First, confirming prices and appointment was accomplished with ease. All my questions were answered and they were flexible in what we may need. They arrived on time, the supervisor was very professional and we went through the house with detail. We discussed options because of the problems with the carpet. He was outstanding with understanding our concerns and not wanting to waste our money cleaning carpets that were beyond help. When they were about done we discussed the finishing options (scotch guard) and made some decisions so they could finish. I was very impressed with there professionalism from the initial contact to the follow up after the appointment. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future!
Description of Work: We had the carpet cleaned in a house we had just purchased. The carpet was in very dirty. We also had some of the carpets scotch guarded. Our cost is deceiving since we had a groupon.

I purchase a groupon for carpet cleaning in 3 rooms. So I called about the definition regarding room size because we have a loft and pricing for additional services. The girl that answered was very nice and answered my questions. And sent me a price list. I must add that the price list was detailed and easy to read. So no surprises. (I forgot to ask about the carpets in the walk in closets). They worked with me on a schedule, confirmed the appointment and showed up 15 minutes early. Because of the time I requested I was warned that they may be late - This was not the case. The team was introduced and we went over the rooms with one of the guys while the other got the equipment set up. After that they got to work. They did a great job and finished quicker than I thought they would.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpets in 3 rooms, landing and stairs.
