They finished in less than a day with 3 guys, and I have already recommended them to 5 people. Everything was clean after they were done.

Luke Whitley is the owner of the business and he gave me a day rate for the work. He came out and went around the yard and the price just jacking up and he said let me give you my day rate and he brought the people over and they worked all day. I will use him again this weekend and will continue to use him in the future for our tree work.

He returned my phone call and said he would be right out, but he never did show.

A couple of days later we called Whitley Wood and Tree to check on their insurance and set up a time for them to come out and do the tree work for us. We talked to Andrew who answered the phone and were informed that they don't carry any insurance at all. Andrew said that they don't because its "just too expensive". Needless to say we will get someone else out to do our tree work. Also here on Angie's List I believe it says that they do have insurance...so beware and always check.

The job was in very close proximity to other homes, fences and powerlines but the entire job went off without a hitch. I was very pleased with their professionalism. They did a fantastic job of cleaning the jobsite when the were done. Subsequent contractors that had to dig around the foundation were very impressed with the quality of the stump removal. They noted that the removal was not superficial and that the stump had been removed several inches below the ground. I would definately recommend this company.
