Smithereen Pest Management Svc

As usual it went very well. They had to come back and respray outside because it rained 20 minutes after they left. They sprayed for mosquitoes as well as the usual. My next door neighbor, who has alzheimer's decided to feed the birds and chipmunks last year and as a result, we got mice. But, Smithereen came out and baited for them and they disappeared. Looks like the same thing is going on this year as I found a dinner roll outside. I'm sure Smithereen will take care of the problem as soon as I call them. Have used them for years, but only once for mice.

All of the communication with the company was easy and efficient. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the specialist, Brian, arrived right on time. Brian is a gem. He was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. He observed the nest outside (where the front porch abutted the first row of shingles, under the shingles), and inspected any holes in the basement where they might be coming in from outside. He also cleaned and treated the inside areas. This was to kill any wasps that might try to come in once he started exterminating the nest from the outside. He was thorough throughout the process and followed up with a phone call to us later in the week. He would have come treat again if needed, but the wasps were gone on the first one! We will definitely use Smithereen for all our pest control needs in the future.

Assured me chemical she used worked 95% of the time. Didn't. Called them back but wanted to charge me when first time out she said next visit is free. Still no results on second visit plus she mentioned nothing about owing then. Only way I got rid of fleas was to use a powder product from Petco and then steamclean the carpet a week after. They sent me a bill for $75 plus tax three months later for second visit They claimed I signed the order, but it was a forged signature plus last name was spelled wrong. Statement I got in mail three months later for $75+ stated if I didn't pay it would be sent to collections. I did NOT receive a bill from them between mid september till early December. After numerous calls I demanded an email stating I owe them nothing, which the manager did finally send.

Been bothered several days with a bad odor in the master bath. Eliminated the possibility of a plumbing problem. Thought it could be a dead animal in the attic but could not find it. Called Smithereen who sent out technician Ron the same day. He got up in the attic... Stayed with it until he found the culprit. Excellent job!

They are a regional company. They are fairly new in the area; it has been a couple of years now. They are good. I do not have termites now. I would recommend them as they do a good job.
